o GOAL: Encourage students to be excited to engage in research.

Additionally, they will become more proficient over time in research.

to Teach Those Subjects to Students.

o TLMD: Domain 2: Accesses and Uses Research to Improve Practice and

Student Learning

o OBJECTIVE: Become proficient in research and be able to utilize a variety

of online resources and tools (short-term)

o TEACHER INQUIRY: I will continue to improve in my research skills

through my teacher inquiry.

 I will develop my leadership in Professional Development

o GOAL: Have more professional development opportunities for myself and

the educators at the school I work for.

o OBJECTIVE: Be able to organize my own professional development

opportunities for my school (long-term).

 I will develop my leadership in Analyzing Student Assessment Data

o GOAL: Be able to synthesize and make confident conclusions based on

the results from the various student assessment data.

o RATIONALE: Education Advanced explains how there are a multitude of

benefits to making better sense of student assessment data.

o NBPTS: Proposition 3: Teachers are Responsible for Managing and

Monitoring Student Learning.

o TLMD: Domain 5: Promotes the Use of Assessments and Data for School

and District Improvement.

o OBJECTIVE: Gain the confidence and structure to be able to synthesize

information and make adjustments based off of the analysis from the

student assessment data (short-term).
