Hello young learners!

I am Mila from Disney.BYJU'S Early Learn App,

where I share all my adventures in Ordinary County!

Do you know that I have a secret? Not even

my brother, Ezra, knows about it!

I am also a superhero who goes

by the name Kid Inc. I wear a badge
that glows and alerts me whenever
there is any trouble!

But when I am back to being Mila,

I read books, explore the world,
and do my homework, just like you!
Would you like to help me finish it?

You can also join Miss Mala,

Miss Meridiem, and Officer Michael
for other fun learning activities!

ACTIVITY 1 Across the Solar System with Mila

Saturn
Type: Gas Giant
Length of a year: 29.5 Earth years
Size (diameter): 116,464 km,
or about 9 Earths
4

Saturn, the sixth and the second-largest planet

in our Solar System, is named after the Roman god of agriculture
and wealth. It is so big that 764 Earths might fit inside it, but weighs
only as much as 95 Earths. Its average density is so less than water,
that if you had a large enough swimming pool, the planet would
simply float in it! On Saturn, a day is hardly 10.7 hours long, but a
year extends to 29 Earth years.

Average (adjective) – Typical or normal

Saturn is mostly made up of hydrogen and helium. Multiple tones of

yellow, brown, and grey can be observed on its surface. While there
are multiple planets that have rings around them, none can compare
to how Saturn's seven look! Saturn's rings are made up of billions of
ice and rock fragments covered in dust. Each ring circles the planet
at a different pace.

Fragment (noun) – A small part of something that

has broken off or comes from something larger
5

Pioneer11, Cassini, Voyager 1 and 2, and other robotic spacecraft

have all visited Saturn. The Pioneer 11 and Voyager spacecraft
observed Saturn while on route to farther-off destinations, but
Saturn was the Cassini mission's primary objective.
