Self-awareness is the ability to focus on myself and how my actions,

thoughts, or emotions do or don't align with my internal standards.

Emotionally is understanding, what other people feel, seeing things from
their point of view, and imagining myself in their place. Essentially it
is putting myself in someone else's position and feeling what they must
be feeling. If I am highly self-aware, I can objectively evaluate myself,
manage my emotions, align my behavior with my values, and understand
correctly, and how others perceive me. And I also monitor and manage my
behaviors in ways that are acceptable, and produce positive results, such
as well-being, loving relationships, and learning.
