Writing Task 2: Two questions essay

Recently, there is a significant rise in the number of citizens moving from rural areas to big
cities. In my opinion, this is because those cities provide a high-quality amenity, as well as
golden opportunities for them to work or study. In this essay, I will discuss about cause of this
situation and give solution of the problem.
One main cause of the rising levels of urban population is the accessibility of modern facilities.
It is true that a city offers so many opportunities and advantages that are difficult to find in a
countryside. For example, the modern transportation and communication system has
developed notably by applying advanced technology. While people in village use bicycles or
motorbikes to move, cars is the most popular mean of transportation to delivery passengers
and packages in the city. Moreover, citizens are provided with better treatment and good
educational institutions which are really inevitable to lead a better life. Also, another reason
why people tend to live in city is a variety of occupation related to many fields. Most of
international enterprises, industries, or factories are situated in city that require a huge
demand for employment. Therefore, people can get more job opportunities by living in a city.
There are a number of viable solutions to help tackle this problem, the over population in big
cities has recently become a thriving problem for governments. Firstly, they must make every
effort to close the gap as quickly as possible. To attract talent and invest, it is first necessary to
balance investment in urban and rural areas, while encouraging more people to realize the
hidden potential of rural areas. Specifically, investors are very eager to build factories in rural
areas if there are favorable policies, such as low land prices for industrial applications and low
labor costs. As a result, the gap will be much reduced, and some intellectuals will be engaged
when the working situation improves. Secondly, educational standards need to be raised, and
governments should work create good environments for children who will make contribution
for development of urban area in the future.
To conclude, people choose to move to cities in order to looking for a high standard of living,
yet it comes to big differences between two areas that could have a negative impact on
people’s home. Thus, government are responsible for implying rules and opportunities to
bridge the gap by improving facilities in rural area.
Writing Task 1:
The diagram illustrates the process of forming a sand dune by the force of the wind.
Overall, there are three main stages in building a sand dune, beginning with the wind blowing
sand, and ending with a formed dune.
In the first stage, the winds blew from right to left has velocity of 10-15 mile/hour, the speed of
winds have to be steady, strong to make a sand dune. At the following step, the sand is moved
continuously to the left by the flow of air, and gradually piled up. The result can be seen that
the process of mound formation is the combination of winds blowing and sand moving.
In the final stage, when the mound reaches the right steepness and the sand cannot pile up
anymore, they will slump down to ground. After that, the collapse experiences the standstill,
the pile of sand then comes into a sand dune.
