Innovations have always been a part of human practices.

From a simple creation of fire to assembly of

bike parts. However, humanity’s greatest innovation throughout history is the discovery of technology.
Technology is always associated with machines, particularly battery or electrically powered innovations;
however, by focusing on its main purpose, it was made to make everyday life easier for mankind or to
improve the quality of life. Therefore, a simple water pump can still be considered as technology.
However, considering the era we lived in, it is to believe to be interconnected with machines. I, Eloisa
Faye Beguiras, can justify that technology has been a part of my life, the moment I was born until now,
where I am currently a second year Bachelor of Physical Education student of the Bicol University. The
current educational system is a proof the technology has brought upon a great deal in our society. As a
future educator, we are expected to become a person capable of interacting with other people and be a
bridge for future generation to pass on the knowledge accumulated throughout the history. In line with
my course, our specialty indicates the knowledge about physical aspect of education, where aside from
teaching, we are expected to engage in sports, fitness activities, or any recreational activities that would
enhance physical, social, mental, and spiritual improvement of one’s body. Thus, I believe that
technology can be a great contributor in accomplishing this aspect of education. For example, we can
use technology to improve the distribution of knowledge among future generations, as well as giving a
creative part on it, where one can enjoy the company and can be a great invitation to engage with
wholehearted actions to the activity since technology can be an invaluable tool for delivering
educational materials, assessing student progress, and encouraging more engagement in the physical
education learning process. Also, we can improve our way of approach in teaching where it can be
beneficial to students that are not typically a literate person but a visual learner, by showing them a
video, generated either by at the moment capture from a camera or computer animated videos. The
way we approach education can alter as a result of technology. Moreover, technology is a dynamic force
in contemporary life. Therefore, it is crucial for physical education teachers to comprehend and accept
the implications of such changes in order to enhance their students' learning.

The development of innovative technology in education has revolutionized how teachers impart
knowledge to learners and how students learn. A wide range of applications are supported by
educational technology nowadays. Technology can be utilized to improve lesson preparations, make it
easier for students to access digital content, and encourage teacher-student cooperation. Virtual reality,
augmented reality, and other forms of adaptive learning technologies are all employed in education to
promote tailored learning experiences. Over time, advancements and new technologies have been
incorporated into educational technology to better help teachers and students in the classroom.
Teaching has been more effective and efficient as a result of the ongoing technological development of
educational tools, which has also extended access to knowledge and resources.

In conclusion, technology is of great importance for physical education educators. Through the use of
technology, educators can deliver educational materials in a meaningful way, assess student
performance, and motivate students to participate actively in physical education classes. It is therefore
clear that technology has a great potential to promote and enhance learning in physical education, and
physical education educators should strive to take advantage of all the opportunities it offers.
