Teddy Stallard Story

and showing me that I could make a difference.”

The title of the video clip is “Teddy Stallard Story ” The main cast were Teddy
Stallard and Jean Thompson. Based on the video clip, the movie was set, mostly, at
Teddy’s school and portrays educational genre whose purpose is to educate its prospect
viewers. This clip envisions that the influence of a good teacher to a student can never be
erased forever.
The video clip shows how big an influence can make a difference in one’s life, for
Teddy Stallard. Teddy is once a student with promising future but due to his mother’s
death, a depressing event, his life is nowhere and, thus, the changes started. In this trying
time for Teddy, Jean Thompson arrived. At first, due to his class performance, Ms.
Thomson did not bother paying attention to him but after discovering Teddy’s past when
she reviews each child’s records her attitude towards him changed. She found out that
Teddy is indeed a performing student but due to a devastating occurrence – Teddy’s
mother died, his enthusiasm in life died as well.
Teacher plays a vital role in the lives of the student, like in this clip. Ms. Thompson
plays a vital role in Teddy’s Life. Despite his struggles, Ms. Thompson stay true to her
profession by imparting knowledge and good values to shape Teddy’s future making him a
better human being that make a difference. At the end of the video clip, a letter kept on
coming every know and then from Teddy to keep her posted of the happenings in his life.
A letter from graduating high school, college with highest of honors, attaining his Doctor
of Medicine Degree up to asking her to sit beside him as the mother of the groom. This
connotes’ Teddy feelings towards her, not just a teacher but a family member.

A Teddy Stallard Story is every student’s story. Struggles, hardships and

challenges are part of who you become. Its about how you take it, handle it and overcome
it. This video clip showed the compassion, dedication and commitment of a teacher, Ms.
Thompson, who only wants success of her student, Teddy, and a student who treasured and
valued the efforts of the teacher who believe in him before, during and after he became
successful. I highly recommend this video clip for the lessons that a viewer can attain from
watching it. A simple yet remarkable story of Teddy Stallard.
