LESSON 3: CURRICULUM MAPPING


What have you learned?
1. Curriculum mapping is a process that follows curriculum designing.
2. I would use curriculum mapping for visual representation of the structure of program
curriculum.
3. The matrix of my curriculum map contains place a timeline that needs to cover, the
intended learning outcome, skills needed to be taught, content areas/subject areas to be
covered, resources available, teaching learning methods to achieve outcome, assessment
procedure and tools to intended learning outcomes, and content areas and resources.
4. I would share my curriculum mapping with all involved personnel for their inputs.
5. My curriculum map has a “pacing guide.” It is the horizontal alignment.
6. My curriculum map is on-going because it is a process that follows curriculum designing
7. Heide Hayes Jacob is a pioneer in the field of K-12 curriculum design and articulation. 
8. The steps of curriculum mapping process are planning, content and methods,
implementation, and evaluation and reporting.
