Lighthouse project of a “City Mobility Operating System”
The RTO (Real Time Optimizer) for London from key customer TfL

• Design, develop, implement a new

traffic control system
• Develop next generation adaptive
control (Future SCOOT)
• Further Traffic Management potential:
Common operational view, predictive
capabilities
• To keep a “City Mobility Eco System” in
balance, you need to manage
infrastructure, fleets and individual
travelers at the same time

Digitalized traffic and a strong contribution to clean air in the
state capital Wiesbaden, Germany

The project aims to implement measures that will reduce

traffic-related emissions. To achieve this, environmental
and traffic data will be recorded, analyzed and processed
in real time.
• Traffic infrastructure:
• 226 traffic lights to be replaced or expanded with Canto
ethernet → 126 of them to be upgraded to sX
• 250 CCTV-cameras, 15 road-site-units, 50
environmental sensors and 45 LED-signs
• Upgrade of traffic control center to Sitraffic Concert
Data analysis and traffic management
• Environmental traffic management including
monitoring and simulation models
• Video management and analysis to identify traffic flow
• Data analytics based on traffic and environmental data
