My Classroom Management Plan

Philosophical Statement

As a teacher, the things that I am going to do in making a good classroom safe

and challenging environment, is that engaging my students through the classroom
management plan. My classroom design or environment is good posture, presentable
and well-ventilated. I believe that a good classroom is harvesting a good knowledge
that they can learn a lot from me. I want to motivate and encourage my students to
participate the lessons and the activities where they can learn lots of things. As a
teacher, I will use all my strategies in order for my students to learn better and be a
knowledgeable person.

Classroom Rules and Procedures

Classroom rules plays a vital role in the success of the teaching and learning
process. They foster strong positive discipline to the students. It is where the students
are responsible and accountable of their own actions. The following are the rules that
I formulated in my future classroom:
Always prepare yourself in class. It is yourself that you must prepare the most.
Please be on time in entering my class.
Avoid from distractions in order to gauge learning.
Raise your hand if you have questions in your mind or answers.
Avoid bullying.
Moreover, setting classroom procedures is very important in order for the
students to be guided in my class. It is where the students are knowledgeable about
the things that they are going to do in my class. Opening Prayer. This is to be done by
the students alphabetically. It is where there is an assigned prayer leader every day.

 Checking of attendance.
 Recapitulation of the previous topics. The teacher will choose a student to
recap the previous lesson.
 Discussion proper. At the start of the discussion, the students are obliged to
open their respective books. To avoid boredom while discussing the lesson,
the teacher formulates activities that will make the students active in the class.
 Activity. The activities are varied according to the student’s abilities. It is done
individually or by group. After the activity, the teacher will provide feedback to
the students.
 Assignment. Giving of assignments can also be done individually or by group.
 Closing prayer. It is done by the teacher and the students are dismiss after the
closing prayer.

Teacher-Student Relationships

As an educator in the process, I must be fully informed and accountable for my

actions. My job is to educate students to the best of my ability. This is where
academic are not only taught, but also life lessons. Life lessons are important in
preparing students for the future. I am not a teacher yet, but I realize that the work is
much more profound than education itself. As a teacher, to be effective and efficient,
you must cultivate good relationships with your students, avoid favoritism and it is also
necessary to treat students equally to avoid misunderstandings.

Schedules and Timeframes

For schedules and timeframes, I present this during the first day of the class. I will
discuss to my students about what is my rules especially in submitting their activities,
it should be on time and late is late in order for my students to practice time
management and be responsible enough in their studies.

Classroom Structure, Design and Arrangements

Classroom structure, design and arrangements are varied from one school to
another. It depends to what kind of learners you are handling with. When arranging a
classroom, teachers need to take into account a number of environment factors,
including lighting, temperature, and even air quality and the colors used in the
classroom.

Classroom Safety Rules and Procedures

Making rules for your classroom will depend on your own expectations and style
of teaching. Though many teachers choose to work with their students to form a list
of class rules, safety is an area that requires teacher control. Classroom safety rules
and procedures help a lot to students to learn the class well and become a
responsible and respectful students.

My Classroom Safety Rules and Procedures

Be on time at the beginning of the day and after lunch or recess breaks.
Come prepared with supplies and completed homework.
Be kind, polite and courteous to others.
Keep your hands and feet to yourself.
Be respectful of the classmates, teachers and property.
Listen to the teacher and classmates and follow directions.
Work hard and always do your best.
Be safe and responsible enough in complying your activities and projects.
Raise your hand when you would like to speak in class or if you need to leave
the classroom for any reason.
Obey all school rules.

Strategies for Rewards and Consequences

As an educator, “problem student “is inevitable. Students must be treated equally.

Orient the students about the things that they must do and not do in the class. When
students commit wrong doings in the class, demerits must be followed. But before
giving demerits to the students, understand first why they commit such actions. It is
important to hear their explanations before a teacher take an action. A teacher must
be fair and just. Disciplining the students is important but too much is bad.
Conversation is very important to develop bond between the teacher and the
students.
The following are my strategies in giving rewards:

 Students that will participate in the class will be given affirmation and rewards.
Rewards can be done by giving points.
 Students that will pass their projects and assignments on time will be given
additional points.
 Lastly, I will give feedbacks to the activities or projects that they do. Feedback
is very important in every activity that they do as it will help them do better
things.

REFLECT
What were your realizations after creating and implementing your classroom/remote
learning management plan?
Classroom management is essential for creating a learning environment since it
entails the strategies and procedures teachers employ to foster learning and teaching.
As a future teacher, I am aware that developing a plan for managing the classroom
should be student-centered and advantageous to learning. Additionally, I am aware of
how crucial the physical setting is to the effectiveness of the teaching and learning
process. A well-run classroom is not something that just happens, it is the consequence
of a teacher’s training and proficiency in key abilities. Establishing a set of rules is only
one aspect of managing a classroom. A healthy learning environment in the classroom
should be prioritized across the entire institution. A classroom environment that
stimulates and support learning is essential to classroom success.
