I. Barangay Description:
Brgy Siranglupa is located at Calamba City province of Laguna. There are several factories that
can be found in the said brgy. The common job of the residents of brgy. Siranglupa is factory worker. As
of now, there is no information on the overall population of the brgy. but last 2020, the population in the
brgy is 12,938. Some programs in brgy are repairing damaged roads, injecting flu vaccine to the elderly
and the SK officials’ financial assistance program for 2nd year college students and above.

(Environmental Problem 1. Weekly collection of garbage and provide a
trash can labeled biodegradable, non-
biodegradable and recyclable.
2. Provide herbal plants that can be planted.

Sanitation 1. None

Disaster Risk Management 1. To prevent the canal from being clogged and to
cause flooding, a strainer can be built beneath the
canal cover to filter the trash that flows into it.
2. Put the cable wires according to the location of
the houses, either left side or right side, to prevent
the cable wires from getting entangled.

I conducted a face-to-face survey and an online interview. I didn’t coordinate with the barangay
because I’m afraid they won't accommodate me. My surveying experience was enjoyable; however, I was
a little nervous because it was my first time conducting a face-to-face survey. Some of the respondents
shared their personal experiences and I'm glad to see them reminiscing how long they lived in the
barangay.
