PETA #3 Video demonstration for Basic Swimming (arm drill and injuries)

I. Performance Standard:
The learners shall be able to lead outdoor recreation events with proficiency and
confidence resulting in independent pursuit and in influencing others positively.
II. Description:
Demonstrates understanding of outdoor recreation in optimizing one’s health, as
requisite for physical activity assessment performance, and as a career.
III. Given:
You are a first aider and joined a swimming event. While demonstrating the land arm
drill for basic freestyle, you happened to witness a person swimming and experiencing
minor injuries in swimming. As a first aider, your instinct is to help the injured person to
ease the pain and prevent further aggravation.

IV. Requirement:
1. Create a short video presentation (1min to 2mins) demonstrating the land arm drill for
basic freestyle and first aid for simple injuries in swimming given below. You may ask
you family member for help and act as the injured person.
A. Muscle Cramps
-Foot cramps
-Calf cramps
-Thigh cramps
B. Stomach cramps

2. You may use any app like tiktok to edit the video and to have good effects.
Add background music or sound effects to make it more appealing.
3. In submitting the PETA, upload your video first on you google drive account or youtube
account (enlisted, for privacy). Then copy and paste the link of your video in this file.
Lastly, copy paste again your video link on the comment section in the aralinks upon
submission.
4. Reminder: One point deduction will be implemented if the link is not pasted on the
comment section.
