Product/Output: AUDIO-VIDEO PRESENTATION
Grade Level: 10
Quarter:3rd

Theme: GENDER ISSUES, FAMILY PLANNING, and GLOBAL INITITIATIVES: How to cope with these?
Description: To understand the effects of issues and challenges on gender, family planning and to plan on how to cope with these in their daily
lives by taking into action the solutions accounted there to and observing global initiatives and respect for life as responsible
individuals in their community.

Goal/Objective: Your objective is to present information to the public about the common gender issues, and family planning measures in line with the
Reproductive Health Law and global initiatives. The video that you will create must be in persuasive or informative form. The challenge is how
you will be able to inform people on how to cope with these issues using gathered facts and scientific evidence or even mathematical
problems. You may include the importance of valuing life as God’s gift and make sure to present your stand regarding the “culture of death”
case prevailing in this time of pandemic.
Role of the Learners: Assume the role of a professional video production team. You are tasked to produce a promotional video that will be used in campaign
advertising about promoting gender equality, family planning and observing global initiatives and respect for life. You may do this in group if
you have classmates living in the same barangay as yours or do this individually depending upon your circumstances.
Audience: Your voice, as part of the youth, will be heard through your campaign advertising. You will present the finished video to your subject teachers
and will be presented to the class through your group chats once they have been reviewed by the teachers. After that, you may also opt to use
social media advertising to let other people view your multimedia presentation. It is important to clearly communicate your purpose from the
beginning of the video.
Situation Related to the Theme: Campaign advertising is often accomplished by combining a short message with a catchy tune that people are likely to remember. Since one of
the most powerful means of communicating information today is through music, you may persuasively share your thoughts and ideas on the
topic using a chosen melody. There are challenges to overcome in accomplishing the task such as the conflicting judgments of people on the
issue that may cause various controversies. Therefore, it is important to be objective in presenting ideas rather than being subjective.
Product/Performance: Produce a campaign advertising video that presents issues on gender and family planning as well as coping mechanisms to such in line with
the global initiatives. You may seek assistance from your teacher in MAPEH regarding the tune, rhythm and beats of the music. For the rhyme
and wordplay to be used, you may consult your teacher in English. The video duration is five (5) to seven (7) minutes. Make sure you follow
this format in your video presentation.
1. On first seconds of your video, present your group members and your section as well as the title of your output.
2. Next, present the objective/purpose of your video.
3. For the next minutes, present the present information to the public about the common gender issues, and family planning measures in
line with the Reproductive Health Law and global initiatives.
4. Next, give accurate basis (scientific evidence/mathematical problems/articles/news report) regarding these issues.
5. Next, present coping mechanisms or best practices on how to address those issues and concerns. Make sure you integrate what you
have learned in your lessons in the different subject areas.
6. At the end of the video, each member should include a brief personal reflection or reaction to these topics.
Standards/Rubrics: You will be given two (2) weeks to conceptualize and execute your ideas through video-making. Once the video is finished, you may already
pass your video to your class adviser for evaluation of your subject teachers. Your multimedia presentation will be assessed according to the
rubric made by the subject teacher per learning area.
