MAHILUM ELEMENTARY SCHOOL LEARNERS

1. Pursuant to DepEd Order No.30 s. 2022 (Child Rights Policy: Adopting the Rights-Based Education
Framework in Philippine Basic Education), DO 21, S. 2015 – Disaster Risk Reduction and Management
Coordination and Information Management Protocol DepEd Division of Leyte, Hindang District,
intensifies its effort in supporting these programs as an integral part of the country's commitment towards
fulfillment of every Filipinos right to quality education. Thus, this office shall conduct learners survey on:
Learners who are Happy and Satisfied with their Basic Education Experience, Learners Awareness
on their Rights TO and IN Education and Learners Equipped with Capacities on What To Do
Before, During, and After a Disaster/ Emergency

2. These surveys aim to:


a. Know learners’ views, feelings, and opinion.
b. Draw out issues and concerns from the learners.
3. The respondents of this survey are the learners of Mahilum Elementary School. The conduct of this
survey will be from November 15-18, 2022. Survey results together with the summary must be submitted
to the school office on November 24, 2022.
4. Please see attached annexes for the survey forms and summary of the survey.
5. Immediate and wide dissemination of this school memorandum is highly desired.

Executive Summary Pursuant to DepEd Order No.30 s. 2022 (Child Rights Policy:
Adopting the Rights-Based Education Framework in Philippine
Basic Education), DO 21, S. 2015 – Disaster Risk Reduction And
Management Coordination And Information Management Protocol,
Mahilum Elementary School conducted survey on: Learners who are
Happy and Satisfied with their Basic Education Experience,
Learners Awareness on their Rights TO and IN Education and
Learners Equipped with Capacities on What To Do Before, During,
and After a Disaster/ Emergency These surveys aim to: a. Know
learners’ views, feelings, and opinion. b. Draw out issues and
concerns from the learners.

The school learners survey was conducted from kindergarten


to Grade 6 learners. It was done simultaneously daily from 12:30-
1:00 in the afternoon. Learners who are Happy and Satisfied with
their Basic Education Experience was conducted last November
15,2022, Learners Awareness on their Rights TO and IN Education
was given last November 16,2022 and lastly Learners Equipped with
Capacities on What To Do Before, During, and After a Disaster/
Emergency was conducted last November 17,2022. All learners

were able to respond to the survey conducted. Consolidation and


summary of the surveys was done last November 18,2022.

The survey ended successfully with the full cooperation from


teachers and learners. Results were gathered and interventions were
crafted.
