Question 1:

To me, a leader is someone who others can depend on to help them grow, influence other
decision-makers, pay attention to those who choose to follow, and work hard to make a team
stronger. As a leader, I make an effort to influence everyone I come into contact with, including
both those who choose to follow me and those who don't belong to the "follower" group. As a
leader, I am aware that I don't always do things right, but I always try to come up with the best
solution or identify the best prospect with the abilities to achieve the objectives. I pay attention to
those around me, serve and encourage those with whom I come into contact, and accept
responsibility. I assist those who follow in resolving conflicts, understanding themselves and
others around them. I am not a perfect leader, but I am personable, teachable, and eager to learn.

Question 2:

According to the course material, there are six types of leadership styles:

The Pacesetting Leader: The pacesetter approach to leadership is an endeavor to "lead by

example," with one aspect being that the leader sets the tone and atmosphere by carrying out a
task exactly how they want it done so that everyone is clear on what is expected.

The Visionary Leader: A visionary leader is one who has a broad perspective. The person who
recognizes market demands and takes immediate action to develop a strategy that aids in the
growth and sustainability of their company. By reading it, one can acquire a quality that isn't
possible to find online.

The Commanding Leader: Being in command is important to the commanding leadership

style. Commanding leaders are uncompromising, direct, and aggressive. They are not afraid to
make controversial judgments and will take command of any issue, even if it is uncertain.

The Coaching Leader: Here, the team's leader mentors and coaches them to prepare for
unforeseen obstacles. The team may be talented, united in its alignment with the company vision,
and self-motivated, and the proactive leader in this situation provides the team with the lessons
they need to become future leaders. When team members refuse to unlearn and relearn or when
the leader is not skilled, this technique fails.
The Affiliative Leader: In situations of intense stress, the affiliative leader succeeds with ease.
In contrast to other leaders, the affiliative leader is compassionate and prioritizes his team.
Employees that are given praise or are supported in carrying out their duties may start to thrive
under this leadership style, which will result in poor productivity.

The Democratic Leader: Democratic leadership is a type of leadership in which group

members participate more actively in the decision-making process. It is also referred to as
participative leadership or shared leadership. Any organization, including public institutions like
schools and commercial corporations, may benefit from this kind of leadership.

Question 3:

People without character lack individuality, values, and anything else that identifies a
person. Children who experience both physical and emotional abuse typically have a lack of self-
awareness as they get older. People's personalities begin to take shape in their formative years,
beginning at the tender age of preschool. They form a personality as well as values. It is crucial
to raise children and instill in them an understanding of their worth, specialness, and potential.
When someone talks about you or describes you, they are describing your personality, such as
"he's pleasant, honest, brave, etc." Now that you know how crucial it is to develop character, I
hope you can see how he can either be a louse, rude, a creep, etc. Also, we should continue to
grow as people throughout our lives. Developing and building our character is something we can
do at any time.

Question 4:

Discipline

Character development implies some kind of discipline in which an individual makes sacrifices
and endures hardships in order to solve an issue or reach a goal, thus I'm confident that this skill
is on everyone's list. During exams, for instance, a student who studies hard for long periods of
time. Beyond any information they learn from it, it can change their ability to concentrate and
channel their energy toward a goal even when they aren't feeling very inspired.
