B. MOTIVATION:
Show pictures of a family. What can you see in the picture? Who are the members of the family? Have
the children name them. ( Integrated in Araling Panlipunan Who are the members of the Family)
PRESENTATION:
What is the picture about? Who is this? ( father) and this one ( sister) Who is this? ( mother) and this
one ? ( baby)
3. ACTIVITY: Teacher shows picture cards in a pocket chart and word cards for the family members.
Get the picture from the pocket chart and name the family members in the picture
GENERALIZATION
Who are the members of the family? Remember: The members of the family are Father, Mother,
Father, Mother,Brother,Sister and Baby are naming words. These are name s of people.
Do you also have a family of your own? Who are the members in your family? How many members of
your family? Can you count them? ( Integrated in Mathematics by counting how many members of their
family)
APPLICATION
Listen to this rhyme. Underline the name of the members of the family.
