1. Welcoming remarks by Ms. Judith


2. Opening prayer by Mr. Marivel of CCDC
3. Introduction of agenda was briefly discussed by Mam Judith, topic for this meeting will revolve
around CHED and DOH’s CMC 2021-001 in compliance with Student Nurses Mandatory RLE
( Hospital Exposure)
A. Documentary Requirements
1. Certificate of Compliance in Authorization
2. Copy of Approved Health in Safety Protocol
3. Master list of Students
- NCI Profile
4. Health Declaration Form
5. Swab test result
 Swab test every 14 days is mandated.
 In the absence of Rapid Test, RTPCR is accepted.
6. Signs and symptoms Tracker
7. Requirements are to be submitted next week.
B. Schools should have contingency plan in events of lockdown in cancellation of RLE.
C. In the instances of cancellation of duties, cancellation of face to face, the school will
be informed immediately.
D. Hospital has the right to assign students on their areas.
E. Students should follow work shift schedule of area of assignment. 12 hours shift as
of the moment. Students and C.I’s incorporated in Team A shouldn’t mix schedule
with Team B and vice versa.

G. Orientation of CI’s and students
 CI should report one hour before duty for orientation.
 Should have Basic Training on Infection Control Precautions in Biohazarad
Handling.
H. Clinical Rotations
 CI should check and monitor students and refer it with symptoms as
necessary.
 CI and students will adhere to proper wearing PPE:
Facemask, Face shield, Hand Hygiene, Respiratory etiquette
 At OR, level 3 PPE is required for SAB and local Anesthesia.
 Maximum of 7 personnel is only allowed for procedure in the OR Theater.
4. Introductions on the supposed new BGHMC Policies on student affiliates was discussed by Sir
Randy. The updated policy gives emphasis on student affiliates, clinical instructors, hospital
staffs and patient’s safety during this COVID Pandemic times. It was also mentioned that as of
the moment internship programs is still cancelled in that student nurse’s schedule to resume for
hospital exposure has to definite time yet.
 As was confirmed by Dr. Padilla to Sir Randy, BGHMC can not accommodate student
trainees yet because of Hospital’s limited space.
 ICC’s recommendation to hold all face to face activities was emphasized.
 Areas for possible rotation of students is still to be discussed.
 Major challenges includes lounges, conferences rooms, and lockers for affiliates.
 Affiliating schools with active MOA and COA till 7/21//2021 school granted with permits:
1) Easter Colleges
2) SLU
3) UC
4) CCDC
5) UB
- PINES – waiting for second visit
- BSU – still for submission of compliance
 All documents needed before NRP exposure must be submitted. Highlited on the BGHMC
propose policy.
 Students and CI’s must adhere to contact tracing protocols once turned positive for COVID.
 Clinical instructors and students must accomplish health status monitoring form and symptoms
tracker form per shift.
 In the events of ward/area lockdown, students and CI’s must adhere to Hospital Policy.
 Limited RLE exposure is suggested and discussion.
 Compliance to joint DOH and CHED guidelines to limited face to face learning exposure must
include adherence still to BGHMC infection control policies.
 On the use of facilities, students, and CI’s must observe proper lunch and dining practices. Avoid
eating together, sit with proper distancing etc.
 Student and CI should follow infection control measures and Hospital restrictions.
 For evaluation and monitoring the clinical instructor has the responsibility to update the school.
Master list of Health Status of students to be submitted.
 IF a patient turned (+) for COVID, the Nurse supervisor will do contact tracing including students
and CI’s. All contact traced must proceed to the garden triage for assessment.
- Supervisor to inform Sir Randy
- Students returning for duty after turning positive should submit a follow
up of negative result.
5. Mam Judith asked for the copy of the finalized and updated BGMC Policies on student Affiliates.
6. Interactive Forum
o Questions about swabbing and medical certificate was brought up.
o Concerns on the frequency and price of swab test was brought up by Mam
Judith.
o Clarification of Philhealth coverage of student and CI swabbing.
o Sir Engel brought up concerns on extended and scheduling in regards to waiting
of SWAB results.
o Mam Judith suggested that this was need collaboration with the City of Baguio
for swabbing of students.
o Sir Randy suggested to attendees to clear with CHED and DOH the guidelines on
the CMC for possible review and revision to better help the students.
o Sir Randy targets to submit finalized BGHMC guidelines for the feedback.
o Number of students for area to have duty is still to be decided.
o BGHMC schedule of Team A and Team B to be distributed to different schools.
o Mam Judith asked consideration if BGHMC could cater students’ swabbing for
free which Sir Randy replied that he will clarify with IDS and other concerned
parties.
o MRP submission on May 10 to 15, 2021.
o Time frame of second semester starting June ( Tentative )
o Need for Biohazard Training as mandated in CHED and DOH CMC was briefly
brought up.
o Sir Randy asked attendees that attachment of school’s MOA and clearance
certificate is to be submitted together with MRP.

A. Mam Czarina discussed that swabbing for students will be done 5 days before the initial duty
then post duty.
B. Swabs has 14 days validity.
C. As for the swabbing price; Mam Glena suggested that school deans, they should write a letter to
the hospital’s Medical Center Chief for free swabbing.
D. Swabbing price for nursing students is at 901 pesos but still to be confirmed.
