Minutes of Meeting

The Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor had an online meeting with the HoDs, TlCs, Dean,
Academics, Registrar, Controller of Examinations, Provost(s), Hostel Wardens, at
11 00 a.m. on 31.01 .2022 regarding opening of University and other issues.

The following were present in the meeting:

The Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor discussed Order No. DMC-SPO-202011028 dated


28 01.2022 issued by Haryana State Disaster Management Authority, Govt. of
Haryana regarding Guidelines of 'Mahamari Alert-Surakshit Haryana.'

After detailed deliberations the following decisions were taken:

1. The classes for Even Semester students will be held in offline mode w.e.f.
08.02.2022. Departments should focus on completion of practicals, dissertation
work, internships of students, as early as possible. ln the meantime, schedule
for practical examinations be prepared.
2. The classes of Ph.D. 1't Year scholars will be held in offline mode w.e.f.
08 02 2022.
3. The classes of Odd Semester students will be held in offline mode w.e f.
21 02 2022.
4. End-Semester Examinations will be held in offline mode as per the relevant
Examination Ordinances of the University. Even if examinations are conducted
in blended mode, the same will be held as per the relevant Ordinance of the
University.
5. Hostel allotment may be done according to the total available space, keeping in
mind the seat matrix, preferably till the end of academic session with directions
to maintain COVID appropriate behaviour. Students must bring Vaccination
Certificate along with them. Provost should ensure that the hostel fee should be
charged proportionately to the students' period of stay in hostel. Students should
be encouraged to participate in the Foundation Day Cultural Programmes.
6 The University Health Centre is operative round the clock and the students/staff
may avail facility of primary medical services.
7. AQAR data for the year 2020-21 be submitted by 20.02.2022 and efforts should
be made to ensure that the Alumni Association registration is done prior to this
date.
8. NIRF data be collected from all concerned by 07.08.2022 and submitted to the
Vice-Chancellor's Secretariat by 08.02.2022 so that the final data can be
submitted on the NIRF portat by A9.02.2022.
9. Filing of Patent: While filing application for patent, a teacher should ensure that
the name of the University is mentioned as 'Applicant' and the processing fee will
be borne by the University. Even if a teacher has filed application for patent, (s)he
can still make amendment and mention name of the University as 'Applicant.' lf
there is any fee for such amendment, the same will be paid by the University.
10.Ph.D. Admissions: Any pending issue related to Ph.D, admissions be submitted
to the Vice-C ha nce lor's Secreta ria t by 02.02.2022.

l l.Scrutiny of applications: All the teachers who are assigned scrutiny work rglated
to recruitment of teaching posts should complete this work on priority :B rl
