Ash Handling Plant Highlights:

Erection & Commissioning of Steel, Structures or Equipment’s of Ash Handling. Preventive , Predictive & Shut
down maintenance of Ash Handling Plant [Dry & Wet Ash Evacuation System such as Bottom Ash Hopper,
ECONOMISER Hopper, APH Hoppers, ESP Hoppers, Ash Water Pump House, Ash Water Recovery Pump
House, Roots Blower, Equipment’s of Silo i.e. (Ash mixer, Screw conveyor, slurry pumps, Rotary vane feeder
& Telescopic chute), HCSD Pump, Instrument air Compressor, Conveying Air Compressor, All types of Gear
Boxes, Clinker Grinder with Fluid Coupling.]

Role & Responsibility

 Working as a Maintenance Engineer.

 Planning, Scheduling & Ensuring proper execution of Maintenance plans and ensuring maximum
utilization and availability of the equipment’s for meeting the targets.
 Ensure that records of inspection and other related activities and necessary documentation are in
orderly retrievable manner.
 Coordinates and participates in Maintenance work planning for all regular and scheduled Plans ,
defect repair and modification activities of equipment’s within budget and on time related to Ash
Handling System.
 Maintenance of All type of Ash handling equipment’s like Centrifugal water pumps, Vacuum pump,
Ash disposal pump, Ash water recirculation system (Vertical pump) etc. 
 Knowledge of Bottom ash hopper, ESP, ECO & APH evacuation by dry & wet system.
 Maintenance of All types of Bottom Ash Handling equipment’s like clinker grinders, Feed gate, Jet
pump, scraper chain conveyor, Belt conveyor, Hydraulic pump etc. 
 Maintenance of All type of offsite equipment’s like compressed air system i.e. Compressors (Oil free
screw type & Double acting reciprocating type), Air dryer, cooling water system & Roots blowers
etc. 
 Maintenance of All type of valves like Dome valve, Gate valve, Ball valve, Knife gate valve, Butterfly
valve etc.
 Conducting regular inspection and tests to ensure the performance capacity of various machines
and equipment’s in Ash Handling System.
 Managing manpower (i.e. making of duty roster, ensuring safety, maintain the decorum of the site
etc.)
 Give necessary instruction / direction to field technicians. To check and ensure the assigned field
jobs are completed in recorded time.
