Greetings are a fundamental function of communication that initiates lively discussions.

It enables people to engage with others on a more personal basis. It can be manifested in a
variety of approaches, depending on one's surroundings. It can be verbal, such as saying hello,
hey, what's up, or nonverbal, such as placing one's hand to one's heart, a simple wave of a hand,
bowing down, or even responding to them by the thumb and index finger forming an "o" shape,
which indicates that someone is okay or good.
The picture depicts the concept of unity in diversity through greetings. It demonstrates
how people, despite their differences, can still manage and understand one another. Individuals
are being connected, which develops mutual respect, and, most importantly, the concept allows
people of diverse cultures to coexist together.
I chose this nonverbal communication in another culture because of its simple yet
powerful message. It supports the concept of making micro efforts having macro impacts, which
contributes to the world's benevolence. Furthermore, the image and its meaning are easy to
grasp, but reflecting from it offers us a great notion of how individuals are related regardless of
their peculiarities.
