I think that traditional values are still applicable today.

There’s one particular value that

I’m a firm believer in. It’s God’s greatest commandment – love God and love your neighbours. I

think that value/virtue is actually the only thing we need to make the world a better place. I

preserve this virtue by being a person who does it. It’s something I try really hard to live by. I

think some of my friends that I’ve influenced saw this in me and that’s why some of them

applied this virtue in their lives. That’s just the best way to preserve such a virtue. Most people

on social media look down upon the “love God” part. I can’t force them to have the same virtue

as me but I do my best to just abide by it.

This subject taught me that religion or beliefs shouldn’t be forced on anyone. If you want

to believe something, you can but it’s supposed to be an individual journey. This New Year, I’ve

resolved myself that even if I lose friends that had the same virtue as me, I’m going to continue

in this direction. The greatest joy in my life is to be able to help another person by sharing this

virtue with them. If I can get to share this virtue with others, I wouldn’t want anything more.

Sharing and abiding, these two are the only ways to preserve my religious values. If not

these, I don’t know what else.
