1. PERSONNEL AND OFFICE LAYOUT
Ayat design department shall comprise senior Architectural, Structural, Sanitary, Electrical and Office
Engineers with at least one junior engineer under each senior engineer. Senior Drafts person (both
structural and architectural) shall also be part of the department.

Well-equipped office should be allocated to the department and senior members should be provided
with private offices.
2. RESPONSIBILITY
2.1 ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN SECTION:
 Shall involve in every architectural design at inception level
 Shall comment on designs before approval and make sure the design is revised
according to the comments. The design should be submitted for approval only after
Ayat design department agrees on the design’s major concepts.
 Make sure the design has satisfied sales office demands and other unforeseen
conditions before going in to construction.
 If the original agreement mentions the responsibility of the original designer to do
modifications even after final submission, then the responsibility of Ayat design
department shall only be commenting on the submitted design and make sure the
designer has revised the design according to comments.
 However, if the designer is not responsible for any modifications after final submission,
then Ayat design department shall do design modifications. All modifications should
be approved by the design office before going in to construction. If under rare
conditions the designer could not approve the modification but the client decides to
construct it anyway, Ayat design department should not be responsible for any
scenarios that may arise due to this modification.

2.2 STRUCTURAL DESIGN SECTION:


 Shall comment on designs before approval and make sure the design is revised
according to the comments. The design should be submitted for approval only after
Ayat design department agrees on the design’s major concepts.
 Shall make sure reinforcement is optimized before construction.
 If the original agreement mentions the responsibility of the original designer to do
modifications even after final submission, then the responsibility of Ayat design
department shall only be commenting on the submitted design and make sure the
designer has revised the design according to comments.
 However, if the designer is not responsible for any modifications after final submission,
then Ayat design department shall do design modifications. All modifications should
be approved by the design office before going in to construction.
 If under rare conditions the designer could not approve the modification but the client
decides to construct it anyway, Ayat structural design department should not be
responsible for any scenarios that may arise due to this modification.
