Chapter I
 “Edukadolympics”
October 19, 2022, a day that Edukadolympics 2022 started. All future educators from
freshmen to seniors are wearing T-shirt with their respective color that represent each
year. This day also the parade started at gymnasium to CED building at exactly 8:00 am
in the morning. I can hear many voices from each year laughing, smiling,
screaming/yelling their yell to make noise in the parade starting with Blue Peacock,
Eduka Vipers, Yellow Royalties and Pink Panda Fighters. I can see those happiest and
prettiest faces in the eyes of the future Educators students of WPU. The games began
to be held after two years of online classes due to the pandemic. So, everyone was
excited for the said events.

While watching the games, I have noticed one of the

active players, he is Tabangay who belongs to the
Eduka Vipers. He is very active in dancing, playing
sports such as, badminton and volleyball. During his
game in Badminton, he wasn’t be defeated by other
player because of his agility and flexibility of playing the
game. Also, during their volleyball games, he is the one who standout in his team and
everyone were admired him.

“Larong Pinoy” which are games that have been

played during EDUCADOLYMPICS using native
materials or instruments. In games, everyone would
participate and enjoyed. Every team give their best for
winning the games. Players have the flexibility of a real
human think and act makes the game more interesting
and challenging, because winning is their aims. Where
there is a winner and a loser. There are honest player
and a cheater, but they were still enjoyed the games
even some of their members was getting hurt. Tug of
war is one of the intense games, because each team
shouldn’t want to defeat. In tug of war game, Ali and his teammates was wounded on
their hands, but still, they fight for their team. Tumbang preso, tug of war, patentero,
bato bola and much more games that we need to preserve and restore, because we are
Filipino in blood and spirit. We have our mind and heart that can never forget.

Chapter II
 “Intramural”
Here the College of Education Group will be united to fight against different
departments. Intramural also consist of different sports and contests. There’s a lot of
competition in the field of sports. The university brought color to the sports complex and
each department of the university paraded one by one, before start the event. At the
same time there are also colors which represents each department. These are; the Red
Vipers for College of Education, Blazing Violet for College of Arts and Sciences, Maroon
Enforcers for College of Criminal Justice and Education, Golden Heracles for College of
Business and Management, and Blue Titans for College of Fisheries and Aquatic
Sciences. The games were held for two days and on that day, there was intense
competition between the departments, making it more fun and exciting for the
spectators.

During the Festival King and Queen, the representatives of the

College of Education who standout and got the crown for
Festival King and Queen. They are Miss. Avegail Grezones
and Mr. Christian Vic Cayaon, who gave their best not only for
winning and got a crown, but for being a good model to all
students in Western Philippines University.
