Dear Reverend,

RE: YOUR SERVICE TO MARIENE CIRCUIT OF NKUBU SYNOD

Greetings in the Name of Jesus Christ,

Reference is made to the Mariene Circuit resolutions made on 18 th February 2023 and Synod
resolutions made on Sunday the 12 th February 2023 by the members in a meeting held at Nkubu
Stadium. The resolutions are hereby attached;

MCK MARIENE CIRCUIT LEADERS’ RESOLUTIONS

1.There will be no further remittance of funds from the churches to the circuit either by the
church or groups until the matter at hand is resolved.

2.Mariene Circuit has no confidence in Rev.Joseph Ntombura as the presiding Bishop of the
Methodist Church in Kenya since he is in the office illegally to the best of our knowledge and
recognizes Rev. Dr. Bundi Miriti as the bonafide Bishop of Nkubu Synod.

3.A litigation to be spearheaded to challenge the said new constitution.

4.All our church land title deeds to remain in our churches and them that are at the conference
to be given back.

5.No further withdrawal of funds from the circuit account without the consent and approval of
the leaders.

6.Mariene Circuit reverends should align themselves to the direction taken by the circuit since
it is deemed to be the right path currently. If not, they should request the conference to move
them to other stations.
In view of your failure to respond to the requirement, we the select Circuit Steering Committee, do
hereby in compliance to the Mariene Circuit t leaders’ resolutions and Nkubu Synod resolutions do
inform you as follows:

1. That you should cease serving in Mariene Circuit until the current stalemate is resolved.

2. That the Circuit will with effect from 1/3/2023 not be responsible for payment of your stipend and
all the payable payments and allowances until when informed otherwise by the Synod Bishop.

3. That you are advised to vacate the Circuit manse and hand over vacant possession of the same and
all the equipment therein to the circuit Steward.

We believe God will guide you as you take the necessary peaceful action.

We pray for God's grace and wisdom upon you.
