IDENTIFY THE FOLLOWING TERMINOLOGIES AND PUT ILLUSTRATION ON

A. LENGTH OVER ALL

The maximum length of a vessel from the two points on the hull
measured perpendicular to the waterline.

B. BASELINE

 A line in the longitudinal plane of symmetry of the ship's hull parallel


to the designed summer load waterline

C. MOULDED DEPTH

 is measured from the top of the keel

D. EXTREME DEPTH

 Depth of vessel at ship's side from upper deck to lowest point of keel .

E. MOULDED BEAM

Moulded Beam or Breadth (B) : The distance from the inside of plating
on one side to a similar point on the other side measured at the
broadest part of the ship.

F. EXTREME BEAM

is the maximum breadth, in feet, of the ship at or below the main deck
to the outside of the hull over blister plating, guards, or armor.

G. MOULDED DRAUGHT

is the vertical distance between the top of the keel to the designed
summer load line, usually measured in the midships plane
H. EXTREME DROUGHT

the distance between the lowest point of the hull or of an appendage


and the designed load line.
