The document discusses the lack of water supply at the Balani MS and Balani MS-Pusog Ext schools located in a mountainous area. While water is abundant in the area, the source is far from the schools and is also used by 80% of the local community. This makes fetching water time-consuming for the schools. A proper water supply is essential for clean learning environments, healthy hygiene practices, feeding programs, and growing food. The School Planning Team has prioritized addressing the lack of water supply in their School Improvement Plan. They plan to implement the Water Connect Project and Project WASH in the next three school years to help resolve the issue.

The Water Supply in Balani MS and Balani MS-Pusog Ext
One of the most problem we encountered in Balani Minority School as an IP teachers is
lack of water supply. Although the school is located at mountainous area, where the water is flowing we still lack of supply, because the source is far from the school. We consume more time in fetching water because its source is consumable by almost 80% of the community. Proper water sanitation in school is essential in the daily life of the teachers. It provides learners with clean, safe learning environment and teach them how to live healthy. It is also essential in maintaining the health of learners and teachers and responsible in growing food in Gulayan sa Paaralan. Without water supply some activities in school like Feeding Program, WINS and hygienic practices with soap is not possible. To promote good hygiene habits through education, the School Planning Team (SPT) prioritized the Lack of Water Supply as the number one problem of school in School Improvement Plan. We come up with different activities to address the said problem. We have the Water Connect Project and Project WINS (Wash in School) to be conducted in the next three school years.
