No. Check all materials to be used have an approved submittal. 1. Ensure drawings used for installation are current and approved. 2 3 Inspect all the pipes, insulation and other material used are new and undamaged and installed in good workman like manner. 4 Check that only eccentric reducers with level side up are used for reduction in pipe sizes. 5 Check that only properly fabricated fittings are used for changes in directions, shapes, sizes and connections. 6 The Joints and flanges are correctly made, jointed and sealed with approved methods / material and as per manufacturer’s instructions, as applicable. 7 Check that installed piping is free of sags and bends 8 Check that gap is maintained between two parallel pipes to permit valve servicing. 9 The pipe routing is checked as per approved drawings. Should be properly leveled & aligned. Coordinated with other electro – mechanical services. 10 Flexible connectors are installed at equipment connections as per requirements / approved drgs. 11 Check drains are installed as per specifications at the lowest point of risers, branches and main lines. 12 Check the spacing of supports and hangers as per specifications. :2:

No. 13 Check strainers, valves, test plugs, air vents etc. are installed correctly and as per approved drawings. 14 Check sleeves are installed for pipes passing through walls / partitions as required. 15 Check that sleeves are cut to length for mounting flush with both surfaces. 16 Hydro static pressure of piping completed satisfactorily and test results recorded and documented. (To submit ‘ RFW ‘ for M/s. Roberts & Partners witness) 17 Insulation is installed as per manufacturer’s instructions / specifications and finished with smooth & even surface without any damages. 18 Check all the insulation joints and seams are sealed properly. 19 Check nuts, bolts , screws, brackets drop rods etc. are tight and aligned properly. 20 Openings around pipes crossing the walls, partitions etc., are sealed properly. 21 Metal jacketing provided over insulation for the required sections of the piping as per specifications with smooth, straight and even surface. 22 Inspect the installation of meters and gages as per the specifications & approved drawings. 23 Ensure adequate space is available for maintenance and removal of valves, meters, gauges and strainers, as applicable. :3:
