Please answer ALL boxes in order to pass this section. You can include screen grabs and links to help. This section is about

SPECIFIC.

Presenter not on screen allowing viewer to see the changes

Something the PROFESSIONAL EXAMPLE does better

Something the PROFESSIONAL EXAMPLE does better

Shows the new skins and event in more detail and focus in more on the theme

How you would improve yours based on this

I would use more clips to showcase the changes
Example 3 of 3

Something your NEWS UPDATE does as well

I made text appeared that shows the official changes so the viewers can read it whilst I’m speaking

Something the PROFESSIONAL EXAMPLE does better

I think that the example has way better engagement more energy and uses comedy to get information along as well as to
keep the viewer entertained but I feel like the news is too opinionated which could affect the way it comes across and how the
viewers treat the update
How you would improve yours based on this
I feel I should have spent more time on the script by making it slightly more comedic I also should have used more titles to
show what I’m talking about

Results and reflection of your survey

Show evidence of your audience feedback and reflect on what it tells you.
Show evidence of your survey results here (screen grabs/graphs/urls/Youtube comments/other)

What patterns or trends did you notice from your audience feedback?
I noticed the audio was a recurring issue as I did have to re record a segment and that the text was

What did you learn from thinking about this?

I learnt that no matter how big or small the issue is its still causes a lot of problems audio wise every viewer clocked in on
It and commented on it to show how much it changed their opinion about the subject
How might you make improvements to your work based on what you’ve learnt from your audience? Be specific
First of all I plan on recording 2 takes of the audio using professional equipment so I have a fallback in case the first one messes
up in a way it cant be fixed, secondly I plan on doing multiple renders of the project so the frames don’t decrease in chunks,
finally I would add some captions and make the text that appeared bigger so viewers can more easily see what im discussing

Conclusions on your audience feedback

Based on what you’ve learnt above, write about whether your feel your work is fit for your specific audience overall.
Remember to say why and prove it
I do feel that my work is fit for my target audience since its gamers but primarily players who are interested in Overwatch,
To which there were whether they competitive or not I decided to first discuss competitive changes and they go on to
Other subjects that are more relevant to casual players so the target audience is larger instead of primarily focussing on
Ranked. Furthermore, I feel that the One punch man cross over event could feel important to anime watchers and bring
them to the video because they’re interested in the series, often when games do collabs with other games or tv shows the
game sees a somewhat growth as the game targets different audiences an example of this would be Fortnite and how they’ve
constantly do collaborations with Marvel, Star wars and anime.

Reflect on your own skills, processes and personal development (U10:LO3_AC3.2)

Please answer ALL sections fully in order to pass this section. You can include screen grabs and links to help. This section is
about how you feel your creative abilities and processes have improved during this assignment. Answer all sections fully
with supporting images (including your own screen grabs) and any other evidence you feel is relevant

Talk about three issues you had during production. These could be based on practical parts of the work, supporting tasks
such as research or even audience surveys.
New software, I had to use a different software to what I usually use which made me struggle for some time

Audio, during the final edit of the video I had an issue with my original recording where the microphone boomed
2.
and ruined the sound clip
Time, I started my edit and script within one day of each other which made me feel a little stressed to get the
3.
content out asap

How/to what degree were you able to resolve each issue?

I researched how to use the different functions of the program and used what I knew from Premier Pro and
1. applied it to Davinchi because of the research I have done I feel more comfortable using it and overall, I prefer it
to Premier pro
I had to re record over the top of the video which in the end did turn out to be worse quality but its better then
2. what happened if I kept the original audio so I’m glad I fixed the issue somewhat and I have learnt to record 2 run
throughs of the script in order to make it better.
In the beginning of the task I did struggle with time management however I created a mental plan to solve the
issue for instance I needed to decide how I’m going to use the voice clips so I started with that so I could get a
3.
rough idea to what clips I wanted to put over the top the last thing I worked on was the transitions and
implementing the music and making it quieter as it was the easiest of things to do
Write about at least three things which well during the whole process?
Talk about what you felt went particularly well about them.
Pacing, I feel that I succeeded in keeping the same pace during the entire video and that it helped me covey
1.
information across to the audience and keep them somewhat engaged
I feel that the music was one of the things that I succeeded on the most despite it being a minor feature since it
felt perfect for the video and kept up with the pacing of the video and wasn’t too loud, it was the overwatch zero-
2.
hour theme as it is copywrite, however content creators constantly use it for there information news videos, as
well as gameplay as the team are okay with the publicity, the worst people can get is no revenue.
3. I feel that the clips were relevant to the video and the timing of the different clips fit perfectly with the audio as
well as helping in conveying the info of the video as the clips were intended to keep the user’s intention as none
specifically drag out too long and they often switch up or have something on the screen to read.

And finally, write a small amount about what you enjoyed about the project which you could possibly use in future work
or assignments. This could be from research, design or your practical production process. Feel free to use screen grabs.
I enjoyed how I could choose what to report on and what stories I could do as it gave me a sense of confidence and
motivation since I have a lot of feelings towards overwatch. I also enjoyed learning the Davinchi software as it gave me
something I can now use at home and it allowed me to grow and understand more about editing, in the future I think
I’m going to plan on sound more interested and act like I’m discussing the subject with a friend or maybe throw in some
jokes to increase the viewers enjoyment.
