OVERSEAS FILIPINO WORKERS

3. In what particular country is the scope of this study?

SAUDI ARABIA because it has the largest number of OFWs around the world

4. Why do they have problems with their mental health?

A major cause is HOMESICKNESS, COMMUNICATION GAP, WORK ENVIRONMENT,
FINANCIAL, and MALTREATMENT and other possible risks

5. How do these OFWs overcome this kind of problem?

Through video calls with their relatives, getting hobbies, making friends with fellow
OFWs, and exploring the place during day offs. Some also goes to church every
Sunday to relieve their minds.
