Hacksaw blade is a cutting tool fitted in a
frame to a correct tension and may be tested
from sound by giving blows with a finger on it
after tightening

It has clearance angle A, wedge angle B,

Types of blades
All hard blades - hardened to full length
between pin holes.
Flexible blades - only teeth are hardened.
It is useful for cutting curved lines.

Precautions while hack saw cutting
Hacksaw blade should be fitted on the
frame very carefully. It should neither be
very tight nor very loose
