OUTCOMES-BASED EDUCATION COURSE SYLLABUS IN PE 1 (PATH FIT 1: Movement Competency Training)


I. COLLEGE

b. Enhancement of materials and equipment to strengthen institutional and instructional needs.

a. Enhance faculty through trainings, workshops, conferences and advanced studies and research.
b. Strengthen the implementation of programs on awards and incentives.

Specific Objectives:
a. Conduct institutional research for the improvement and innovation of curricular instruction and community and extension
services.
b. Conduct study on enhancement of office procedures and processes.
c. Enhance linkages with stakeholders to promote more venues to research.
4. Technology-based extension programs; and
Specific Objectives:
a. Strengthen linkages with local and international stakeholders.
b. Introduce appropriate and sustainable technology to community beneficiaries.
c. Maximize employees and students involved.
5. Market-driven products.
Specific Objectives:
a. Conduct consultative conference of industry competency needs.
b. Increase student’s hours of exposure to actual workplace.
c. Package new programs, practices and services.

II. DEPARTMENT MISSION:


The Business and Management Department will produce graduates imbued with knowledge, skills and values as innovator, research-oriented, technology
savvy responsive to service, with an entrepreneurial mind and risk-taker business practitioner who can serve their communities responsibly and contribute to
better quality of life and become globally competitive.

The minimum standards for the BSBA program are expressed in the following set of learning outcomes:
A. Common to all programs in all types of schools
The graduates have the ability to:
1. articulate and discuss the latest developments in the specific field of practice. (PQF level 6 descriptor)
2. effectively communicate both orally and in writing using both English and Filipino.
3. work effectively and independently in multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams (PQF level 6 descriptor)
4. act in recognition of professional, social, and ethical responsibility.
5. preserve and promote “Filipino historical and cultural heritage” (based on RA 7722)
B. Common to Business Management Discipline
A graduate of a business or management degree should be able to:
1. Perform the basic functions of management such as planning, organizing, staffing, directing and controlling.
2. Apply the basic concepts that underlie each of the functional areas of business (marketing, finance, human resources management, production and
operations management, information technology and strategic management) in various business situations.
3. Use the proper decision-making tools to critically, analytically and creatively solve problems and drive results.
4. Express oneself clearly and communicate effectively with stakeholders both in oral and written forms.
5. Apply information and communication technology (ICT) as required by the business environment.
6. Work effectively with the stakeholders and manage conflict in the workplace.
7. Plan and implement business-related activities,
8. Demonstrate corporate citizenship and social responsibility.
9. Exercise high personal moral and ethical standards.

C. Specific to the Sub-Discipline and Major


A graduate of BS Management Accounting should be able to:
1. Resolve business issues and problems, with a global and strategic perspective using their knowledge and technical proficiency in the areas of
financial accounting and management, management accounting and control, taxation and accounting information systems.
2. Conduct management accounting research through independent studies of relevant literature and appropriate use of accounting theory and
methodologies.
3. Employ technology as a business as a business tool in capturing financial and non-financial information, generating reports and making decisions;
4. Apply knowledge and skills that will enable them to successfully respond to various types of assessments(including professional licensure and
certification); and
5. Confidently maintain a commitment to good corporate citizenship, social responsibility and ethical practice in performing functions as an
accountant.

VII. COURSE DESCRIPTION :
This course provides training in different movement pattern and core engagement in conjunction with principles of healthy eating and a
physical active life. Students will be able to adapt and transfer the movement competency indifferent context.
VII. COURSE CREDIT/UNIT : Two (2) units.

At the end of the semester, the students are expected to:
1. access, synthesize and evaluate information
2. apply concepts such as fair play, empathy, respect for others’ abilities and diversity by understanding how these can influence their
interaction with others.
3. participate in moderate to vigorous physical activities in accordance with national and global recommendation for PE.
4. devise, apply and appraise a range of strategies to improve their own physical performances and those of others.
5. propose practical and creative interventions that will create community connection and contribute to the health and well-being of the school
and/or larger community.
