PRINCIPLES OF ECONOMICS, TAXATION AND LAND REFORM
First Semester 2015-2016

The minimum standards for BSIT program is expressed in the following minimum set of learning outcomes:

A. Common to all programs in all types of schools

c) Work effectively and independently in multi-disciplinary and multicultural teams;
d) Act in recognition of professional, social, and ethical responsibility;
e) Preserve and promote Filipino historical and cultural heritage.

f) Articulate and discuss the latest development in the field of Industrial Technology;
g) Demonstrate broad and coherent knowledge and skills in the field of Industrial Technology for professional work and life-long learning;

i) Apply knowledge of mathematics, science, and technology to solve industry-related problems;
j) Perform tasks in accordance with industry standards and practices.

Course Description A three unit consists of the basic economic principles and the real, forces and demand and supply, and
equilibrium, production, and its cost, concept and purpose of taxation, fundamentals in taxation and land reforms.
