Mission statement

Stray Cat Alliance educates and empowers communities to advocate for every cat's right to be

safe, healthy and valued.

Purpose

Their purpose is to save stray cats by providing adoptions, wellness care, medical care, and

community shelter support. They provide a safe place for kitties. They also provide advice to

take care of stray cats. Stray cat alliance believes that every cat deserves a home. Because they

care for animals that no one takes care of.

 I chose “Stray Cat Alliance” because I adopted two stray cats. The reason is because I

wanted to stop their loneliness and suffering of not being well taken care of. I also feel connected

to animals, specifically kitties. I think that every animal deserves a second chance. They don’t

have the power that us humans do. Which is to provide them a safe and healthy environment.

The purpose of this organization caught my interest, because aside from helping stray cats in the

community. They help to encourage people to not surrender cats on their death sentence. Which

means that they are saving cats from being killed when no one wants it. They don't support

cruelty and instead offer resources and solutions. They give advice on how to deal with cats and

some problems they may bring.

This organization benefits my community because I have seen a lot of stray cats starving

outside my house and some of them are physically hurt. The benefits of this organization are that

more cats are prone to have a home, and there would be less cats suffering on the streets. People

like me, who care about them. Wouldn't feel bad for not offering food and shelter. Because

sometimes feeding them once is not enough. I envision myself helping with cleaning their

environment in the shelter and helping them find a home as soon as possible. Therefore more

stray cats have a temporary home until they find a family or a person who they can trust and as

well their adopters. I would obtain a benefit in improving my mental health. Because it would

make me happy to see less cats suffering. I would develop an improvement in my skills in being

principled and caring.
