I. LEARNING OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:
Identify the different colors of light after passing through a prism.
Arrange the colors of visible light in terms of energy.
Discuss the significance of colors in our lives.
Draw a color wheel that represents the colors of light.

Greetings
B. Review
The teacher will give a short review of the previous lesson.
C. Motivation
Show a picture and ask the following questions:
Activity Procedure:
Q2. Why is the prism or water able to separate the colors of white light?
F. Abstraction
Light is a kind of energy that can travel through space in a form of
waves.
Dispersion is a kind of refraction which provided us colors of light. It is
observed when white light passes through a prism. Refraction is the bending of
light when it travels from one medium to another.
A prism is a transparent optical element with flat and polished surfaces
that disperses light.
The more the energy in the wave, the higher its frequency. The lower
the frequency is, the less energy in the wave.
G. Application
A. Label the dispersed colors of visible light in an increasing energy.
V. ASSIGNMENT
In your notebook, draw a color wheel showing the wavelengths,
frequencies, and energies of the colors of light. Show your creativity.
