hours, also service those items (if applicable) listed under 250 hours and 10 hours or daily.
FLUID SAMPLING
Take fluid samples from each system as indicated on this form. The manufacturer of the fluid analysis kits will provide maintenance
recommendations based upon the results of the fluid analysis and the operating information supplied. Regular fluid sampling extends the
operational life of machine.
As Required
□ Inspect tires and check pressure □ Replace primary and secondary engine air filter elements
□ Check wheel fasteners □ Lubricate nonpowered front wheel bearings (if equipped)
□ Inspect and replace cab fresh air and recirculation filters (if equipped) □ Check windshield washer fluid level (if equipped)
□ Check air conditioning system refrigerant charge and system oil □ Service exhaust filter
charge (if equipped)
□ Drain water and sediment from fuel filters □ Inspect and clean cooling system
Every 10 Hours or Daily
□ Check engine coolant level □ Lubricate backhoe boom, crowd cylinders, and pivots
□ Check hydraulic system oil level □ Lubricate backhoe bucket cylinder and pivots
□ Check engine oil level □ Lubricate backhoe swing cylinder and pivots
□ Lubricate loader pivots □ Lubricate mechanical front-wheel drive (MFWD) axle and universal
joints (if equipped)
□ Lubricate loader quick coupler (if equipped) □ Lubricate non-powered front axle steering pivots (if equipped)
□ Lubricate front axle pivot pin □ Lubricate multipurpose bucket pivots (if equipped)
□ Lubricate stabilizer pivots and cylinder pins
Every 250 Hours
□ Take engine oil sample □ Check rear axle oil level

□ Drain and refill engine oil and replace filter □ Check transmission oil level
□ Check MFWD axle planetary housing oil level (if equipped) □ Lubricate MFWD drive shaft spline (if equipped)
□ Check MFWD axle oil level (if equipped)
Every 500 Hours
□ Take hydraulic oil sample □ Check boom-to-dipperstick pin bolt torque
□ Take transmission oil sample □ Drain water and sediment from fuel tank
□ Take rear axle oil sample □ Drain and refill engine oil and replace filter
□ Take MFWD axle oil sample (if equipped) □ Replace final fuel filter
□ Take engine coolant sample □ Replace primary fuel filter
□ Take diesel fuel sample □ Lubricate rear axle shaft seal
□ Check air intake hose
Every 1000 Hours
□ Check coolant condition □ Replace hydraulic tank breather
□ Clean, pack, and adjust non-powered front wheel bearings (if equipped) □ Replace fuel tank breather
□ Drain and refill transmission oil and replace filter □ Inspect accessory drive belt
□ Replace hydraulic oil filter

Based on difficult operating conditions, some machines may require more frequent service intervals than the standard 500 hours. If operating
in conditions at or above 1829 m (6000 ft), with biodiesel blends greater than B20, or in difficult conditions, perform service interval every
250 hours to better maintain engine performance.
