To rededicate the lives of youth to the ideals of freedom and

nationalism, for which our heroes lived and died. To pay tribute to our
national hero for devoting his life and works in shaping the Filipino
character we have to study the subject called “The life and world of Rizal”
and it is a must no matter what field are you in College you have to study
this subject before graduating.
Who is Rizal? José Protasio Rizal Mercado y Alonso Realonda was a
Filipino nationalist, writer and polymath active at the end of the Spanish
colonial period of the Philippines. He is considered the national hero of the
Philippines. Rizal was known not just because he is considered as the
National Hero of the Philippines but also because of his works, some of his
known works are Noli Me Tángere (1887) and its sequel, El
filibusterismo (1891), The Friars and the Filipinos (Unfinished), The
Diaries of José Rizal And Alin Mang Lahi (“Whate’er the Race”),
a Kundiman attributed to Dr. Jose Rizal
Rizal’s works can still be applied in the current situations such as
having right and enough Education, How Important education in today‘s
generation especially in our future. Education become the key to everything
with Rizal’s works also Youth in modern society will be able to know how
people lived before and use it as a inspiration to pursue their dreams,
Rizal’s works also is now being used not just in Schools or History books
but also for Entertainment in televisions of course with Lesson that viewers
might get.

The life and works of Rizal is such an important part of the history that
can’t be forgotten and teaching about it shouldn’t end in every generation. I
have realized that honestly I don’t have really lot of Knowledge in this part,
because back when I was in High school I am not really Interested in it
because I thought it is not interesting just because it happened a long time
ago, It is a History. Now I realized the importance of this and how it affects
our lives before ‘till now. The Works of Rizal is and its lessons that we might
be needed in our life is not fading, thank you to the teachers and those
people who never stops remaking and Teaching us about Rizal because of
that we are able to feel and imagine how is life before, Now I learned that
Rizal and his Works really is needed in our life so that we won’t be ignorant
in our History.
