What can you say about the result of your answer in this self-assessment form? Explain

Since the world becomes so modernized and technologies are evident in every aspects
of life or in different areas. It is not new that within the educations it is widely used. As I
assessed my self in the survey about using ICT in teaching.
As a student teacher, I manage to use technology whenever I have reporting in class in
different subjects. When it comes to the policies regarding the use of ICT, I am not that totally
aware instead of one thing. Whenever I used it, safety, security and privacy are the things that I
considered especially on disseminating informations with different sources and using tools in
the class. More than digital learning resources, mostly I used and I always want and prefer to
use non-digital learning resources. Since, that when I grew up, the very first time I owned
mobile phone is when I was in grade 9 and I learned to use computer and laptop when I was in
grade 10, because of this, I mastered the use of this. When it comes to developing digital

resources though I did this but mostly text and image. So far, I haven't done making videos and
others not unlike my classmates that they more of this. When it comes using technology tools
in classroom activities, I honestly not do this. I prefer to do my activities without the use of
technological tools instead I want my students to become resourceful and do my activities with
what they have in their body. Since, that I am not a well versed and mastered on technologies. I
honestly would say that I am not an expert in using technology tools in the classroom. In the
school, we have facilities that we can use whenever we will report with the used of technology
such as projector, speaker, laptop and we don't have television in the classroom- not totally
condusive but we manage to use it. I am aware of an ethical and legal responsibilities like
acknowledging the references I used in every informations I disseminate. I make sure that the
sources are reliable and the information are all valid and helpful. These are the simple things
that I used to become ethical and legal responsible in using ICT. If I am going to assess if my
students learn better with the use of technology, my answer is yes and I know that they are
more good using it on teaching compared to me.
Overall, I do enjoyed using technology in using ICT in teaching. Everytime I used it, I
learned many things.
