ACTIVITY PROPOSAL

I. Title: PROCUREMENT OF ASSORTED VEGETABLE SEEDS

III. Rationale:

The Municipal Agricultural Services play a big part in the development of the agricultural sector in the municipality of
Libon. It has been extending its support to vegetable farmers in the municipality through the provision of assorted
vegetable seeds. Apart from the vegetable growers, the MAS office also extends its support to various schools,
Kababaihan Organizations and Barangay Communal Gardens.

To continue its program on High Value Crops Production, the office needs to procure assorted vegetable seeds to be
distributed to farmers, schools, Kababaihan Organizations and Barangay Communal Gardens.

Objectives:

1. Extend support to vegetable growers in the municipality through the provision of seeds.
2. Promote food sustainability among households by supporting barangay communal gardens.
3. Encourage the younger generation to engage in agriculture by supporting the Gulayan Sa Paaralan
Program.
