GRADUATE SCHOOL

Course Information and Syllabus in QYRY 1013

Descriptive Title: Quantity and Reliability

Credit Units: 3 units (54 hours Lecture)
Pre-requisites: None
Course Description:
To provide an overview of the techniques, methods, and models methods used in various aspects of reliability engineering such as probabilistic modeling,
use of data to assess model parameters, principal methods of reliability analysis, including fault tree and reliability block diagrams, Failure
Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), event tree construction and evaluation, reliability data collection and analysis and parameter estimation. The course will focus
on real-world problems of engineered systems that are related to the students’ research interests.
