We know that men and women are equal sexes in an egalitarian society such as the Philippines, but to

some extent, there are some traits that men surpass women and vice-versa.

1. What is/are thing/s that women should teach men nowadays? Explain in no less than 200 words.

The things that women should teach men nowadays are the attributes of being selfless and being
transparent about their emotions and feelings. First and foremost, I say selfless, just like our mothers. A
mother's love knows no bounds. Our moms consistently give, nurture, and shower us with her care and
affection from the moment we are born into her life. All she wants is to provide us with a good quality of
life and everything we need. That's why they always prioritize first their children's needs before their own
needs. No matter what it takes, a mother will often willingly give all she has to provide for her children the
best she can. Even when everything is messing up, and other people are turning away from us, our mother
is still the one got our back.

The second characteristic is being open about their feelings and emotions because there are
different expectations for men and women in society when it comes to processing emotions. Women are
always seen as "sensitive," it is socially acceptable for us to communicate our emotions, such as grief or
fear. But, men, who are known for being tough and fearless, are not encouraged to express their emotions
in public. These cultural norms and gender stereotypes have been around for generations and can be
detrimental, especially to men. Men who reveal their feelings are sometimes perceived as weak. As a
result, many men are scared to express their emotions for fear of consequences. Suppressing emotions
and feelings, on the other hand, can be extremely harmful to a man's mental health. We should change
gender stereotypes about emotions since all emotions are valid and valuable. Men can't control their
feelings. Their emotions are natural, as they should be, and no feelings are invalid or fabricated. There are
no right or wrong emotions. Communicating about our feelings is important for our well-being regardless
of gender. The fact that every human being is a balance of feminine and masculine attributes is a well-kept
secret that most individuals aren't aware of.

2. What should you learn from men as a student?

Women could learn from men to not take criticism seriously, not only in the workplace but also in personal
situations. I say this because we all know that women are more transparent about their emotions and
more sensitive than men, which is why most women are easily influenced by other people's criticism and
judgements. Women are more susceptible to stress and depression, and they also experience trauma.
Men, on the other hand, are not easily affected by those judgements and criticisms since they are
perceived as tough and fearless, and they usually cope with them by turning them into jokes or something
else humorous.
