Condition of the Supply and Demand

in our country.

E. Mining Due to approval of Philippine mining Act of 1995. there is an increasing demand of
workers in this industry.

 There is a great need of professionals particularly in core operations like geologists,
mining engineer, and metallurgical engineers.

F. Construction- this is the highest demand of industry for fabricator, pipe fitter, and welder

G. Banking and Finance – There are more than 8,000 graduates in courses like business
administration, business management, commercial Science, Etc…

K. Wholesale and retail – This industry is progressing in the country due to good economic
situation. The demand of workers is increasing while the wholesale and detail flourished.

L. Overseas Employment – Based of the report of DOLE Philippines have the greatest number of
exporting workers in Asia.
 Many graduates in colleges are unemployed or underemployed and mostly are job mismatch.
This is the results of not planning well the academic or technical-vocational course during their
youth after finishing the basic education elementary and high school.
