INSIGHTS AND REFLECTIONS:

Lecture 1: Personality Development


Speaker: Mary Rose Bañas, EdD
Insights and reflections: I relearned some easy strategies on how to improve my
personality not just on how to be a good person but also as a student intern.

Lecture 2: The Art of Questioning


Speaker: Johara Louise T. Temporosa, MAEd
Insights and reflections: I remind myself here that question is used to uncover and
assess student thinking, knowledge, and understanding.

Lecture 3: Netiquette
Speaker: Medie June P. Ariston, PhD
Insights and reflections: Dr. Ariston's words here have enlightened me since they
remind me of how to act properly and that I should check my limits as a student intern  to
sound professional.

Lecture 4: Beginning teacher and PPST


Speaker: Noralyn S. Esona
Insights and reflections: I learned here too that I should be a competent teacher to
achieve my aims in class and as Briones said, "PPST assists  us to realize our roles
better in enhancing the teaching-learning process to create the intended learning
outcomes".

Lecture 5: Correspondence and other practical writing


Speaker: Sarah A. Galang, PhD
Insights and reflections: In this section, I pick some lessons such as planning, drafting
or composing, revising or editing, and publishing the things that I have to do in
accordance with my topic in class to enable me to successfully implement my lessons.

Lecture 6: Inclusive Education and Accommodation


Speaker: Kane Sheena D. Ambong, Med
Insights and reflections: The speaker said that gifted students need a vast of
understanding when teaching them because they are special which is why they also
need special or unique treatment.

Lecture 7: Deped Forms and ICT Resources
Speaker: Leomar C. Biñas, Med THE
Insights and reflections: As a teacher I need to move forward with the interests of my
students that I can apply to implement my lesson enjoyably such as making a pleasant
PPT’s, some videos and also some ice breakers that are related to our lesson, but if the
resources are limited I can make other plans to make my class interactive.

Lecture 8: Deped System and Culture


Speaker: Joji D. Linaugo, EdD
Insights and reflections: I am a teacher, I should respect everyone's culture; I should not
be biased; instead, I should embrace everyone for who they are in order for them to be
recognized; in this manner, I can be a successful teacher.

Lecture 9: Mentor Mentee Relationship


Speaker: Rosemary C. Trecho, MAEd
Insights and reflections: It enlightened me that I shall talk with my cooperating teacher in
a respectful way and I should voice out whenever I want to clarify or ask something from
her in order for us to have a good mentor-mentee relationship.

Lecture 10: Sexual Harassment and Safe Space Act


Speaker: Elvie S. Samson, PhD
Insights and reflections: It instructs me on how to act in a respectful manner, especially
the way i dress in order not to receive harassed by anyone within the school, if that
happens I shall report it, that also applies to  the teachers and students against me.

Lecture 11: Student and Teacher’s Mental Health


Speaker: Maria Thirza O. Fernandez, Rpm
Insights and reflections: It reminds me once more that I shall not bring my personal
emotions into school when teaching because it will certainly damage not only the
learner's education but also them as a person.
