Discuss the importance of the study of values

 I believe that the importance of studying the values will help a person become more responsible
and practice humanism. Values are individual beliefs that motivate people to act one way or
another. It is a way for a human to improve their lives because it strives to lead fulfilling,
meaningful, and ethical lives, using reason and empathy to guide their decisions and actions. It
gives a wide range of understanding of being more humane, as well as rejecting unethical
behavior that hinders peace in the society. Also, since we live in a diverse society, it helps
people understand and value each other's preferences and priorities.

 Values are fundamental principles that are shaped by social institutions, cultural beliefs, and
community dynamics. Our country is very conservative, and because of the strong traditions that
have been passed down from generation to generation, values are recognized by many Filipinos.
An example of that is being close to our family. Our parents teach us to say "po" at "opo" in order
to show respect for elders. Additionally, we often learn from other people's values, which we then

 As the society maintain its values, it was still recognized. Our ancestors helped us gain a greater
understanding of compassion. Until now, when the pandemic started in 2019, many Filipinos

establish organizations and make assistance demands. They have different ways how to help their
“Kapwa” Pilipino and that shows “Bayanihan”.
Intensity

 People can be more true to themselves and feel more purposeful because of our values. It
influences the way we act in life, how we set our goals, and how we are as individuals. More
specifically, it has an impact on our behavior since we utilize it every day. The foundation of who
we are and how we act is comprised of our values, attitudes, actions, and beliefs. It serves as the
foundation for how we view people, ourselves, and the world in general. They'll help us set goals
that advance rather than hinder our aspirations.
Prestige of the carrier of the value

 I believe that these values encourage individuals to advocate for justice and peace in our society.
It is absolutely necessary for one's life since it promotes growth and development. One Filipino's
decision will have a significant effect on the country as a whole; it allows us to make a difference
in the future.
