PRACTICAL INSTRUCTIONS
GENERALLY
The machine is placed on rails. Rails are based on a flat surface spread
with cement; they are firmed by use of plugs (special locking screws) or
they are welded to flat irons anchored into concrete. In case the machine is
provided with a helper bench used for the collection of the cut straightened
iron bars, this bench is suggested to be based on a flat surface spread with
concrete.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
Before carrying out the electrical connection of the machine with the
supply, consult the safety guidelines.
By complying with these instructions, you avoid an eventual risk of
electroshock.
The electrical connection of the machine requires the current feeding
via safety limit switch as well as via specific cable (valid for a 29,5
Hp electro-motor), which is connected to the screw clamp block -
indicated as R.S.T. - of the electrological board.
CUTTING-CARRIAGE VR 32
GΑLΑΝΟS S. A. PRACTICAL INSTRUCTIONS
Turn the keys of the control panel into “ON” position and make
sure that the machine is current-fed.
Press the “START-PUMP” button. This way, the electro-motor
will be set in operation and the rolls must be risen on while the
manometer must show pressure at 150 BAR (tightening rolls).
