COURSE SYNOPSIS
Work at Height can expose workers to serious injury if safety
TARGET PARTICIPANTS measures are not taken seriously. It is employer’s duty to protect
GRID DIVISION everyone who might be exposed to safety risk by ensuring that any
form of work at height is planned and supervised.
DISTRIBUTION DIVISION Climbing tower techniques is awareness to Transmission Line staff the
safety procedures and techniques during climbing. All precaution
whether Personal Protection Equipment and accessories thru rope
are taught during this course.
DURATION This course covers all aspects related to working at height such as
legislation, safety requirements and working methods. This course is
3 DAYS mainly for TNB’s Transmission working environment.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
After attending this training program, participants will be able to:
VENUE • To explain the needs according to Malaysia Acts.
• To explain the safety use of harness and all the accessories during
ILSAS, BANGI climbing and working at Tower in TNB Transmission Line.
• To explain safety procedure and techniques during climbing.
• To explain safety precaution techniques during working at high.
• Determine the suitable equipment for work.

• Safety need according to Malaysia Act
• Introduction to Working at Height
• Personal Protection Equipment and Climbing Accessories.
• Safety Rule & safe working procedure.
• Climbing Techniques using Rope Access.
• Types of Knots.
• Rescue Method using Rope Access.
• Matter of Anchoring for Rope Access
• Hauling System
