REPORT FOR APRIL 2018

L.S.A Equipment maintenance and check carried out according to:

ANNUAL SURVEY CARRIED OUT BY ABS SURVEYOR IN ULSAN, SOUTH KOREA AT
22-JULY-2017.
(1) LIFE BOAT

AS PER CO. Marine Circular No. M.262 Protective cover for on/off load release mechanism
operating button checked ,found in place and mechanism adequately protected against
accidental or pre-mature use.
Weekly and Monthly Inspection carried out as per TQMS F-SHIP-13-04
Lifeboat Inspection Checklist
Both Lifeboats Swang Out weekly as per SOLAS requirements.
Both Lifeboats Engine tested weekly as per Maker Manual Instruction by a
Responsible Engineer and rudder tested in hard port & stbd found working good
Lifeboat Electrical Installation Inspected Battery,Dynamo,Electrical Plug and Lamps
by E/E.
Both Lifeboat Hatches checked for their tightness and move freely, Inspected Bilge
free of water Both Lifeboat Fully Operational and No any sign of Abnormalities,
Ready for an Immediate used.
Life boat air cylinder were refiled up to 200 bars for both port and stbd life boat.
PORT & STBD Lifeboat lowered into the water ,spray system tested then lines
flashed by fresh water on 13/04/2018.
food ration and emergency water for both life boats Changed in 14 Nov 2015
Exp. Date (May-2020).
At (13/04/2018) Both life boats lowered to water born maneuvered and run in
extensively for 10 min. at sea,sprinkler system tested quick release gears, off load
release gear, All in good condition.
First aid kit changed in Both life boats EXP. Date in (FEB 2019)
Pyrotechnics"PARACHUTE ROCKET SIGNAL & HAND FLARES" changed Exp. date
(APR-2019)
Seasickness tablets changed Exp. (JAN 2021) and (Nov 2018)
NOTE:
Both lifeboats Annual service inspection c/out on 11-JULY-2017 in SINGAPORE.
Found in good order & no any remarks.

(2) LIFERAFTS

Total 5 Liferafts on Board Monthly & Weekly inspection carried out as per F-SHIP-13-06
Liferaft Inspection Checklist all related attachement found in good order.
All Liferaft Next Service Date : 19/01/2019 and H.R.U. Expiry Date JAN. 2020
Liferaft Container, Cradle, Painter & Lashing Inspected visually.
Operating procedures and markings posted found in good condition.
All area painted by new colour, to be visible and remarkable area on deck

(3) LIFE BUOYS

All checked weekly as per F-SHIP-13-05 Lifebuoy Inspection Checklist ALL found in good
condition 6 pieces, which are fitted with self Igniting and the other 6 lifebuoy are fitted with
line 35-meter in Length.

(4) IMMERSION SUITS

Monthly inspection of all immersion suits carried out as per F-SHIP-13-07 Personal
Lifesaving equipment Checklist.
Reflector tapes labels whistle donning instructions & zipper checked found all in good
conditionand ready for use at any time

(5) LIFE JACKETS

Monthly inspection carried out as per F-SHIP-13-07 Personal Lifesaving equipment

Checklist
Inspection carried out of all life jackets whistle reflective tapes. Numbers, light ,Labels
found all in good condition.

(6) PYROTECHNICS

Buoyant smoke signal (4) pieces located in port and stbd. lifeboat. Expiry date -
MAY 2019
8 pcs. Parachute red rocket located at port and stbd. lifeboat. Expiry date –Apr
2019
Red hand flare (12) Pcs located at the port and stbd. lifeboat Expiry date – Apr 2019
12 pcs. Parachute red rocket, located in the bridge is valid until FEB 2019.
4 pcs line throwing appliances located in the bridge exp. Dec 2019
(7) SART AND EPIRB:

New EPIRB received in Ulsan 22-July-2017. Annual Survey carried out by ABS surveyor
along with Hanshin Technician. Found satisfactory and in good condition
E.P.I.R.B (JOTRON)
Battery expiry date is JULY 2022 .
Expiry date of H.R.U. on JULY 2019.
Stbd S.A.R.T. batteries exp date : JUNE 2021.
Port S.A.R.T batteries exp date : JUNE 2021.

(8) FLAGS :
All flags are in good condition merchant flag alphabetically arranged.
Alphabetical, numeral, substitute flags answering pendant all are in good condition.
Ready for use at any time
