Briefly discuss the Ted Talk you’ve watched. Write your answer in 3-5 sentences
only.

1st Ted Talk:

a. Why are the new 3Rs for education important?
The new 3rs will help the students to prepare for their unknown job and
make them independent. It also helps them to learn new things on their
own. The relationship is the most important among the three because we
humans think in communities; it is the antidote for people to be able to
learn. We will believe on things come from the people we like or we think
like us. The 3rs teach me to reflect and rethink about my assumptions and
what I already know so that a different way of learning can be equipped.

b. As an emphatic listener, "putting yourself into the speaker's shoes," how

are you going to integrate feelings and emotions in conveying what you
intend for your audience? Write your answer in 5-10 sentences.

I will try and include some scene or situations that the audience can relate or
even experienced. I should not use jargon words that my audience cannot
understand. I will try to paint an image in their mind thru words so that if ever
they don’t know what kind of situation I am saying, they can still feel it because
of imagination. I will give a loud and clear voice in saying the speech so that
they will understand the speech perfectly. I will try to get their attention with
unique words or quotes related to the topic. Just like him, I will use gestures and
emotions in conveying the message I am trying to give. I can also be creative,
have props so that I can gain their attention and have a feedback. In doing so, I
will receive a good feedback from them.

I believe a good speech is where the people can not only learn but can also
feel because the two of them relate to one another, just like how the heart and
mind work together. Feelings or emotion has a substantial influence on the
cognitive processes in humans, including perception, attention, learning,
memory, reasoning, and problem solving.
