Hi we are topography students at sencico. What do surveyors do?

Surveyors make: exact measurements, determinate boundaries, calculate

heights, calculate positions. Using the follow instruments:

Hello, how are you? To continue we will talk about THEODOLITES are a device
used to measure, they do it in an optical – mechanical way so that vertical and
horizontal angles are are obtained with great precision.
We present parts of the theodolite:

- Aza of transport.
- Objective lens.
- Vertical movement brake.
- Horizontal movement brake.
- Screen.
- Horizontal tangential screw.
- Circular level.
- Leveling Screws.

Hello! I'll show you of the most widely used tools in the construction area is the
AUTOMATIC LEVEL.

Its use is essential to carry out traditional leveling tasks, such as the
determination and transfer of heights or the measurement of angles, both in
open fields and is buildings of all kinds.
Parts of an automatic level:
- Integrated collimator.
- Focus button.
- Objective.
- Compensator.
- Circular Level.
- Horizontal adjustment screw.
- Motherboard.
- Leveling screws
Hello now, we have the Leica T-06 TOTAL STATION, the angular precision is 5
seconds, the team’s specialty is to make topographical surveys, asymmetric
controls and planimeter and stakeouts. It can measure angles and distances
electronically and process them trigonometrically to give us, at a minimum,
position coordinates in space
it’s main parts are:
-total station
-the handle
-ocular
- objective
-screen
-keyboard
-tripod
-prism
-prism holder
-tribrach base
-chicken eye
Thank you.

Hi, I this is the DIFFERENTIAL GPS, is a system that provides GPS receivers
with corrections to the data received from the GPS satellites, in order to provide
greater accuracy in the calculated position.
In short, the DGPS structure would be as follows:
● Monitored station (reference), which knows its position with a very high
accuracy. This station is composed of:
o A GPS receiver.
o A microprocessor, to calculate the errors of the GPS system and to
generate the structure of the message to be sent to the receivers.
o Transmitter, to establish a unidirectional data link to the end-users'
receivers.
● User equipment, consisting of a DGPS receiver (GPS + receiver of the
data link from the monitored station).
Hi how are you, I'm going to talk about the equipment called DRONE or RPAS,
it is a high precision equipment. these equipments are used especially for
topographic surveys from the sky in large extensions of land.
This is equipped with RGB sensors and a high-resolution camera that captures
images and aerial data. With these data we can make measurements in three
dimensions using photogrammetry.
In addition, we also have a control station which allows us to control the drone
from the ground and where we can make the flight plan for our topographic
survey using the PIX 4D application which allows us to configure the type of
flight and the height.
