Practice Session
Friends, every year we celebrate ‘The World Earth Day’ on 22 April. We know that
nd
Air pollution, water pollution, noise pollution, and increasing heat of the earth have
caused danger to the living things. We can’t live without trees. We should plant
more
and more trees and conserve them.
Remember, No trees, no oxygen,
No oxygen, no life.
Friends, remember trees are our lungs. Trees are our life line. So plant trees, grow
trees, keep them, conserve them, and protect them.
BLOOD DONATION
Good morning one and all present here, honourable chief guest of the day,
our principal, professors, parents and all my dear friends,
So friends, let us put our hands together and make a promise to donate blood
atleast once in a year. Thank you for lending me your patient hear.
Good morning one and all present here, honourable chief guest of the day, our
principal, professors, parents and all my dear friends,
Today I am going to speak with you on a topic which is near to my heart namely,
‘Stop Cruelty to Animals and Birds.’ I have some questions for you. Do you have
siblings, friends? Are you treating with them cruelly? Do you harm them or beat
them mercilessly? I bet all of you, your answer will be “No, We don’t.” Then why
many people of us treat animals and birds cruelly? Are they not living being too?
Obviously they are living being. They also have feelings like us. Many of us are
aware of this fact but still we treat badly and hurt them cold heartedly. Even though
government has aware of this but no strict laws have yet been enforced. Their
exploitation should be treated as equal crime as human exploitation. Sever
punishments should be given for such offence. They are as important as human
being.
It is said that human being is the most social and intelligent living being. So I
humbly request all of you to treat animals and birds good. Even though they do not
speak they have feelings and rights to live.
Organ donation empowers all of us not only to save lives but also to improve lives.
A living person can donate perhaps one kidney or part of a liver and save only one
life but after brain death a person can save up to nine lives and donate all their
organs and tissues and this includes heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, pancreas,
intestines, corneas and so on. The act of donation not only transforms the life of the
patients but also of their whole family. There can be no act holier than organ
donation.
For donating organ you should consult your family doctor. He will give you all the
necessary information then you have to fill out one form, and receive a card; it
really is that easy. Then, once you have passed away in many years to come, your
organs will be removed and will give somebody else the chance of life.
Thank you.
Good morning one and all present here, honourable chief guest of the day, our
principal, professors, parents and all my dear friends,
Today I am going to speak with you on a topic which is near to my heart namely,
eye donation. Dear Friends, we have one life let us make our one life more
meaningful by donating eyes. Eye donation is the mother of all donations. Eye
donation directly gives vision to another human being. It is not only gives vision to
one individual but also to the entire family of that individual. A person who wishes
to donate his eyes after his death has to go to an eye hospital and need to register
his name with the hospital.
The information about the person who agreed to donate eyes and died is to be given
to the respective hospital as early as possible. So, that his eyes can be removed
and saved within six hours. We can see the world even after the death of ourselves
by the way of donating eyes.
So, friends let us put our hands together and make a promise to donate eyes after
our death.
The excessive love for Television leads to idleness, sentimentalism and weakening
of our sense organs and imagination. During holidays, instead of going out in the
open and play some sports, the youngsters prefer to remain idle watching
television. People are more interested in watching television than reading books. In
spite of the fact that television has some disadvantages, the utility and importance
of television in modern world cannot be denied.
Today, on 22 nd March we are celebrating ‘World Water Day.’ It is said that if there is
a third world war it will be over water. Are you aware of the severe water crises we
are facing? With the onset of summer, let’s all become alert to water conservation.
According to WHO report one in three Mumbaikars has no access to safe drinking
water. Mumbai ranks third in worlds black list of twenty seven worst performing
cities. Water save every drop of water and cope with this scarcity. If the people and
the government work hand in hand, nothing is impossible. We can make our earth a
paradise to live in.
Let’s all resolve from today to save water in every way- mend your leaking taps
today, take water in a glass when you brush your teeth, use a bucket instead of
washing hands and face with the tap water running waste.
