• To deliver top-notch client service.
• To provide clients with an affordable product.

Background of the Business

One afternoon, the idea for Snackelicious Bites initially came to our minds as everyone was
talking about the potential products we would love to offer. As a student who usually craves
tasty and wants to share food yet affordable snacks, we know exactly how to make one that
everyone will surely love. The first word of our product name is a mix of two words that
perfectly describe our product: snack and delicious. The word "bites" was added to our
brand name, for it also describes most of the bite-sized products on our menu. We see our
products as a healthy snack option that would satisfy everyone's food cravings.

Business Concept
The kind of products that we offer is some snacks that other food places already sell.
Furthermore, we decided to add something that would make our product stand out. We
decided to add some ingredients that most people would not expect to be in a snack:
vegetables. Vegetables are usually ignored or avoided. Also, in our product combinations in
a bento box and round packaging, you can have a chance to eat what you want and share it.

Likewise, we made snacks that would convince our customers to eat vegetables rather than
prevent them.

Product and Services

A. Product Description
Meryenda is a term handed down during Spanish colonization to Filipinos, meaning a light
afternoon snack. There are many classics and homemade Filipino snacks in the Philippines.
As Filipinos, we are fond of snacks that are usually sold on the side of the road. Workers,
students, children often eat it to relieve starvation, whether from school, work, or even
playing. We often see deep-fried foods such as Kalamares, chicken parts, and even street
foods on the streets. Everyone loves street food because street vendors sell it at an
affordable price, regardless of whether they are students or professionals. We've all heard of
veggie balls sold by street vendors, but have you ever tasted chicken, hotdog, and tofu filled
in veggie butter? Or is this the first time you've heard about this product? Everyone likes to
eat healthier food, so let us try this veggie mixture with different fillings inside.
Snackelicious Bites is a combination of vegetables and deep-fried snacks to create a snack
that is both healthy and delicious. It is arranged into two options: combos in round and
bento. Combos in a round bowl consist of chicken balls, a hotdog with cheese corndog, and
a dip that is the customer's choice. These are mayo, cheese, ketchup, and other steamed
carrot and fresh cucumber. While the combos in bento consist of corndog bites, chicken
balls, and fried tofu, it also has different varieties of dipping just like in the combos in the
round. We designed our menu into two sections, such as the bites that can be ordered with
the drinks. Our customers will pay just 20 pesos for a 12 oz of glass and 30 pesos for a 16
oz. The other section is the beverages that consist of calamansi juice, cucumber juice, and
lemon water. Our customers can order these drinks without combos at an affordable price.
We called this drink a healthy sip since our goal is a healthy snack and drink for everyone.
The Bites and drinks we sell are tasty and healthy combinations of crisp textures and soft,
freshly cooked vegetables that will motivate customers to purchase them again and again.
This product will surely appeal to customers due to its very appetizing appearance and
affordable price, as well as its high quality that will fill your empty stomach. As part of the
Philippine culture, meryenda is also a part of our plans to conserve this culture and make
money simultaneously. To guarantee our customers will buy this product because of its high
quality and sure to provide them with health benefits, we came up with the idea of making
meryenda most healthy and appetizing.

B. Product Benefits
Corn Dog Bites, Chicken Balls, Tofu, and vegetables are the inclusions of Combos in Bento.
Corndog is one of the most well-known foods now, especially international. Our Combos in
Bento are not only good for our health but are also budget-friendly than can be afforded by
many customers. Eating Combos in Vento has many health benefits. The main ingredients
have many benefits. Tofu contains several anti-inflammatories, and antioxidant
phytochemicals, making it a great addition to an anti-inflammatory diet. Also, it has a good
source of 'complete' protein which means it has a well-balanced amino acid profile – in
addition to fiber, potassium, magnesium, iron, copper, and manganese. Chicken has the
amino acid tryptophan, which has been related to higher levels of serotonin (the "feel good"
hormone) in our brains. We use vegetables which are squash in our batter mixture.
According to research, Squash is a good source of vitamins A, C, and B; they're high in
antioxidants; and rich in minerals such as potassium, magnesium, and manganese.

Furthermore, Our healthy drinks have three variants: lemon, calamansi, and Cucumber.
Lemons contain a high dose of vitamin C, soluble fiber, and plant mixtures, giving them
several health benefits. Lemons may aid weight loss and reduce your risk of heart disease,
anemia, kidney stones, digestive issues, and cancer. Calamansi fruit is extremely rich in
vitamin C, which is known to be the number one nutrient in fighting viruses and retaining
iron. It's also rich in vitamin A, calcium, and potassium. The fiber boost in Cucumber helps
you stay regular and avoid constipation. Vitamin K helps blood clot and keeps your bones
healthy. Vitamin A has many jobs, like helping with vision, the immune system, and
reproduction.

Here is a list of the Chicken, Tofu, Squash, Lemon, Calamansi, and Cucumber benefits that
you might like to know:
1. Helps to lower blood pressure- The calamansi and lemon, which is the flavor of drinks,
have Vitamin C, and it helps to reduce the level of blood pressure in the body.
2. Reduce the risk of heart disease- A food rich in protein, chicken can help with weight
management and reduce the risk of heart disease.
3. Keeps our body hydrated- Squash is rich in fiber and water, making them both hydrating
and good for the gut. All that water in cucumbers can help keep you hydrated.

CHAPTER 2 MARKET ANALYSIS

Market Characteristics
The economic impact of COVID-19 majorly hit the Philippines' small businesses and created
a crisis for the employees who lost their job due to the shutdown of companies. Even in the
food sector, since it has the highest safety measures, food service delivery is the only
convenient way of purchasing food. With the growing digit of online food service platforms
and collaborations of eateries with food delivery service providers, the food service market
across the nation is growing faster. In that case, the unemployed Filipinos were enticed into
joining the field of business, especially in the food industry.

On-the-go and low-cost food products are the primary standards of Filipinos when it comes
to their food choices. That is why we are establishing this business, "Snackelicous Bites."
These bites consist of a mini corndog, chicken balls, tofu, vegetables, and a different variant
of dips. Snackelicous Bites are affordable because they have various vegetables that melt in
our mouths. As an entrepreneur, our group thinks about putting a twist on this product. We
came up with the idea of putting all inclusions together in a bento box and, if you want a
smaller one, in a round bowl. We also paired it with delicious beverages and came up with
the idea of selling only three flavors with high nutrients: lemonade, Calamansi, and
cucumber drink. As an entrepreneur, we want to serve customers low-cost food and a
convenient process of order. 2-3 people can share our product, open for online transactions
and door-to-door delivery.

Place or Location
Our physical store is located at Block 39 Mainroad Lot 139 Southville 1, Brgy. Niugan, City of

Market Segmentation

CHAPTER 3 COMPETITOR ASSESSMENT

SWOT Analysis over Competitor

Meryenda businesses and those selling healthy drinks are the varieties categorized as our
rivals. In this line of business, JL Milktea and Teatok are direct competitors. Our competitor's
various flaws were identified when we classified them.

Strengths: They have been operating this firm for a long time and are familiar with what the
customers want. They now understand the many tactics and strategies they will utilize to
grab the attention of their clients quickly. Since then, milk tea has been popular, and people
are familiar with JL Milktea and Teatok. Since they have worked long in this industry, they
are now more organized and undamaged. As a result, they are now better able to provide
various promotions and discounts to draw in clients.

Weakness: One typical sort of business is milk tea. A milk tea establishment can be found
on each side of the street. Many businessman and women are creating their own due to its
rising trend. Additionally, they are more focused on bringing a product to market that is just
appealing and pleasant rather than how a product would influence the consumers' health,
such as by adding gobs of sugar and artificial ingredients.

12
CITECH
CABUYAO INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY
Senior High School Department

Opportunities: Running this business many years ago. They have a probability of being
recognized right away. They have the technology to advance their items' promotion because
they were established long ago. Additionally, their menus have been finished and received
positive public feedback. It is their advantage to entice clients and convince them to
purchase their products.

Threats: Trends vary together over time. Not all business sectors can guarantee that there
will always be a market for their products. Therefore, one worry is that customers would lose
interest in the product because many different food chains and a variety of business drinks
are beginning to emerge. Individually, we are aware that we are simple to adopt. In line with
that, if fresh trends emerge, they will grab attention.

SWOT Analysis of Snackelicious Bites

Strengths - Snackelicious bites is an innovative and refreshing product that is appealing to
customers at first glance because of its special menu that involves vegetables, promoting a
healthy and, at the same time, excellent quality and taste. The ingredients are within an
allotted budget and are easy to find and get in the market, which saves both time and
money. This makes the menu cheaper, more attractive to customers, and more willing to buy
the product.

Weaknesses - The biggest drawback for the business is the location, considering there are
many other establishments in the area that are considered direct competitors. Additionally,
companies that have been around longer have a more considerable advantage as it is more
known to locals. This means customers may be split or reduced as many businesses sell
food and similar products nearby.

Opportunities - The snacks or "meryenda" has gained popularity in our country since the
Spaniards colonized the Philippines. Since snacks have always been a part of our culture,
the (Product Name) has a chance to reach a larger audience. The (Product Name) franchise
can expand and grow into a significant brand in the not-too-distant future. It can become
more popular with the help of the shop's future customers by getting featured in their blogs
and social media.

Threats - Since the shop's location is difficult to access and numerous direct competitors
nearby, Snackelicious Bites' will need to keep up with competitors to survive. If the shop
didn't get enough attention from the community, this would be a possible reason for the shop
to be closed because of default. Another potential threat, since the shop is newly
established, sometimes the shop will experience a shortage of ingredients and a lack of
workforce which may cause unmanageable business, which may also become a factor for
the company to be dissolved.

Space Analysis

The Snackelicious Bites physical store has 40 square meters.

4.7 square meters is allotted for the bathroom area, while the kitchen/staff site has
11 square meters. The remaining area is for the counter and dining area. Upon
entering, the customer will view the plant and the counter. On the right side, it is the
bar table, while on the left is the door to the comfort room.

The counter area is the only way to enter the kitchen/staff area since authorized
persons can only go there.

Description of Area

Kitchen and Staff Area

Only authorized personnel can enter this area. We decided not to put some door on
it so that everyone could get out quickly in an emergency. It is being placed in the
cashier area because if a customer attempts to go inside, the cashier will notice it
first. When you enter, you will see a black-brown table. This is where the workers
can put the food. It is also beside the stove and the dishwasher. There is also a big
shelve where you can store the stocks, and at the lowest part, workers can place
their bags under it. The most important is the refrigerator. We put foods that need
temperate storage in the fridge.

Dining Area
In the dining area, there are various tables and chairs where customers can sit. If
they are solo or want more privacy, they can choose to be at the bar table. If they are
more than 3, like a family or peers, they can choose to be in our dining set in front of
the cashier. Lastly, they can be in the pillow fort with a freedom wall if they want
some living area vibes.

Bathroom Area
Our bathroom accommodates any gender since one of the Snackelicous Bites'
advocacies promotes gender equality. Inside, we have a toilet and urinal area for
men. We also have a sink and a mirror, and a trashcan for waste.

Snackelicious Bites Uniform

Snackelicious Bites provides a free set of uniforms to their valued employees. This is
done not only to look neat and for aesthetic purposes, but also so that customers
can easily distinguish the employees whenever they need assistance. Snackelicious
Bites' palette consists of three colors: brown, white, and orange. Each color has its
own meaning that symbolizes the company and its employees. Brown stands for
strength and reliability; white evokes the ideas of purity, simplicity, and cleanliness;
and lastly, orange is for optimism and energy.

Both male and female employees have the same design of uniforms. They both
should wear a white polo, black slacks, black PPE shoes, a hairnet, and their own ID
for identification. Employees should keep their hair tied back and sanitize their hands
frequently before and during work.

CHAPTER 7- EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Mission
To present the best quality of healthy food deals by using the nutritious, most efficient
ingredients at an affordable price and provide the all-time friendly service quality of
food with a consistently high standard of cleanliness. We look forward to expanding
our brand inside or outside the Philippines and increasing the returns.

Vision
To be one of the popular establishments in the City of Cabuyao that offers the healthy
yet tastiest food to beloved customers. Moreover, it nourishes our customer,
employee, and supplier connection with respect and trust. Lastly, to be capable of
returning blessings of being prosperous through participating in donation drives,
community programs, and many more.

History
"Snackelicous Bites" was coined from the phrase "snack that is delicious in bite sizes".
We came up with this idea last September 28, 2022, considering what the best and
healthy product for everyone's taste buds is—making it with a twist and something
new to our customers. Lastly, within reach of the customer's budget.

The Problem
Most Filipinos love their snack without considering if it is healthy or unhealthy.
According to the studies from Healthline, food addiction works primarily in unhealthy
foods since eating junk food drives dopamine release in the brain. This reward
encourages tolerant individuals to eat more unhealthy foods. Eating unhealthy foods
leads to a deficiency of nutrients and diseases. We see this as the main problem, and
as an entrepreneur, we want to make a solution to this problem. It is not the solution
but an option, a way to start preventing unhealthy foods.

The Solution
As the option to prevent these problems above, Snackelicious Bites will provide
customers with a unique kind of snack here in the Philippines, where the products are
cheap yet healthy and appetizing. Together with our drinks, this will give customers
satisfaction that can lead to their cravings.
