IMPACT OF POOR INTERNET CONNECTION THAT AFFECTS THE ACADEMIC

PERFORMANCE OF 12-HUMSS STUDENT OF JAPAN-PHILIPPINES INSTITUTE

In this thesis paper grade 12 humss students, aim to know the impact of

poor internet connection on grade 12 humss. There are two hypotheses made, the first is

(ho) poor internet connection has no significant effect on academic performance of grade

12 humss, and the second is (ha) poor internet connection has a significant effect on the

grade 12 humss. This thesis has three research questions. First is "how would u describe

your experience with a poor internet connection?", the second is "how would describe a

slow internet connection?", and the third is "how to deal with a slow internet

connection?".

As their methods use, they use research questionnaires as their method of

collecting data. They employed qualitative research design this is identifying it as diverse

ideas, different attitudes, and different perspectives of grade 12 humss. Grade 12 humss

students do a survey and they choose thirty students to be the preference of their research.

For some reason, I am not sure what are important findings of this

research but I consider the most important finding on this research is the number of

students who have been affected by poor internet connection. Hypotheses were supported

in this research but the (ha) poor internet has a significant effect on the academic

performance of grade-12 humss hypotheses are the only has been supported in this

research.

The overall answer to those questions is most of the population of the

Philippines suffer and deal with poor internet connection and their different situation and

place that has a fast internet connection, and dealing with slow internet connection is

really hard especially when you live in the Philippines. The author uses a table to

describe it and the readers summarize it. They recommend that students should try to find
a place with a decent internet connection and you should prepare ahead of the students

can not be left out of their class.
